To whom it may concern,
My name is Coraline, Coraline Saxon. This is my journal. Please handle it with care. It contains letters filled things that I wanted to say to someone but never got the chance to. Its been several years since I first got this journal. A man called "The Doctor" gave it to me on my 5th birthday. Before I met him my mom would tell me stories about him, I never imagined that I would meet him until I finale did.
You see, I owe him my life; as does everyone else on earth. He saves them all the time yet they don't even know who he is. One time he saved them from a truly horrible man. That man was called 'The Master' but if I really knew him I would call him dad.
I guess he's the reason why the Doctor came into my life. He's all ways been paranoid about me turning into my father. I know in my heart though that that is never going to happen. I suppose he had the right to wonder. His mind was free to run with the ideas like that.
I was 5 when I first met the Doctor. He came to my birthday party. He gave me this journal and a beautiful necklace. When he left he promised he would come back that night, and he did. He walked into my room and told me stories. He told me all about him, he even told me dark secrets that no one else should know, these are things I hold close to my heart.
Doctor, if it is your eyes; your very old eyes are reading this, I need you to realize something. I'm waiting. I've been waiting for you ever since I was five. I regret never going with you, seeing your world and going to marvelous places. I am still waiting for you, please come rescue me.
