Dear Doctor,
It’s my mom’s birthday today. She’s acting really different than she usually does. She’s smiling a lot, it’s a really smile. Oh, it’s so beautiful. Her smile is something that I haven’t seen it in so long. I got her lavender roses, she loved them. I think we’re getting along a whole lot better than we usually do. When she looks at me her eyes are filled with happiness, not disappointed. Maybe I’m doing something right. She’s so happy, I love seeing her this way. It’s like a whole new person has came and taken the place of my mother.
Oh, I almost forgot to tell you. I made it into the call backs! I really want to do this play. I relate to it so much, you know since you read me the story once when I was little. I will never forget that night. How old was I Doctor? I think I was 8 years old, yeah I was 8. You came thought he window with the ratty old book in your hands. You told me it was the original copy. You left it here you know. It’s somewhere in my room. We never finished it. Maybe you’ll come and finish it. Maybe one day we will finish that beautiful fairytale.
Bowtie man is sitting next to me on my bed, he keeps trying to read what I’m writing over my shoulder. Speaking of Bowtie Man, I had a dream about him last night. You were in it with him. It was a short dream but it frightened more than the others that I’ve ever had. You were standing in the TARDIS. Tears were streaming down your cheeks; I could see gold starting to glow around your body. I watched you regenerate Doctor. I watched you leave. You said 5 words that will haunt me forever now. Those words changed my world. That wasn’t what scared me tough. As you changed I saw Bowtie Man emerge. That’s what terrified me, he was you.
He’s not you though right? The man next to me is not the Doctor right? Please tell me he’s not you, I need you to tell me he is not you. I need to know that he is not my beautiful Timelord, please tell me he doesn’t have two hearts beating in his chest. Please tell me he doesn’t have a key to the TARDIS. He can’t be you. He just can’t.
