Dear Doctor,

Save the Future Cure the Past. Those words have been going through my head nonstop for the past week. The words cancel out the drumming. It comes and goes I guess you could say. When I hear it in class I listen to it, but when I hear it while I’m writing to you it just disappears.

Doctor, do you think I am being to needy of you? I’m only 16 but I know I want you with me. You’re 904 years old I think?  I am but a child to you. I was thinking of the letter you wrote me, in it you said you love me. Did you mean it like ‘I love you let’s get married’ or did you mean it like ‘I love you like a daughter’? I’m such a teenager. I can never fully understand boys.

Speaking of boys that guy keeps showing up, you know the bowtie wearing one. When he comes by he asks for me not my mom. I don’t know if I should be happy or not. When he rings the door bell, or if anyone does, I think it’s you. But it’s not. Don’t get me wrong I like him he seems nice, and a lot like you. But I really wish it was you. He bought me ice cream yesterday it was nice. He gives me a look though Doctor. His eyes look at me as if they are trying to understand who I am. They look like your eyes, old and full of memories.

I really do miss you Doctor. I have this feeling that something is going to happen. There’s this pit in my stomach; it makes me feel like something is going to end or begin. It’s probably just my mind playing tricks on me, oh well.

With all My heart,
