Dear Doctor,
I saw you Doctor. Well I didn’t exactly see you, I saw the TARDIS. I forgot how beautiful it is. That blue that gives people hope where ever it goes. When I saw it I froze. I had the key around my neck yet I was too afraid to use it. What is wrong with me? I could’ve unlocked the door and walked inside. What if you were in there? What if you were sitting in there looking out of the window watching me? Oh god, how stupid can I be. You were right there. Inches away from me and I froze.
Something strange happened while I was standing there, frozen. Rory came running up to me. He had two coffees in his hands. It was strange. I didn’t question it though. He dropped the coffees the second he saw the blue box. His hands shacked as he pointed at the TARDIS. We just stood there, like two statues in a park.
Rory and I just stood there but after a while he got up the courage to walk up to the beautiful blue box. When he got close to the doors I ran. I turned my back to the blue box and I ran. I turned away from your world and ran. I was so afraid Doctor. I was afraid of seeing you Doctor. I can barely see the words I’m writing. Tears are spilling from my eyes. I can’t believe I turned. Why Cora? Why did you turn? I wonder if Rory got to see you. Who cares he didn’t run away, I did. You were so close. You were right there. I turned away and ran from you. Why did I run Doctor? I’m such a fool. Please, please tell me you didn’t see me run away. I really hope you didn’t.
Please tell me that Doctor. Please.
