It had been two days since the kiss that had sent your heart racing. And now, you were putting a stack of t-shirts into your F/C suitcase, packing for your long trip home. You wanted to beg Laurance to let you stay, but you knew he would refuse. You knew, no matter how hard you tried, you would never gain his trust back. You're wiping away a drop of sweat rolling down your face when the door creaks open. There, standing in the doorway, was Garroth. He pokes his head inside the room and makes eye contact with the half-packed suitcase.
He nods his head towards it, "Need any help," he leisurely asks.
You shrug, "I think I've got it covered," you curtly respond.
He walks over to where you're sitting on the floor and sits next to you, wrapping one of his arms around you. "Hey, it's going to be okay, we'll meet again." You look up at him, the rim of your eyelids filling up with tears. You never even had gotten the chance to ask Garroth to be your boyfriend and now you were parting ways. You wanted to believe Garroth's sweet words, but you couldn't bring yourself too. Deep down, you knew that this would be the end for you two. You both would find other people and probably find yourself married in five years, leaving your relationship as just friends.
"G-Garroth, will you remember me," you faintly whisper to him. He laughs, "Of course I'll remember your, one day you'll be in a white rocker right next to mine." At this, you crack a smile too. You didn't know if Garroth was serious about growing old together, but you sure did hope he was. As if to interrupt your thoughts, he suddenly pulls out a crumpled piece of paper from his pocket.
"To keep in touch," he says, grinning.

Dante lifts your suitcase into the truck of your F/C car. He turns around, putting his arms out for a hug. You take it, as he wraps you in tight. "Guess this is goodbye," he remarks once you pull apart. You nod, "Yep, it was good meeting you Dante." " And you",he says, nodding his head goodbye.
After Dante walks away from where your standing, Travis takes his place. You two hug and say your goodbyes, you wishing him well before he walks off. You and Laurance had already had a hug-fest inside, both of your forgetting your grudge against the other for a few blissful seconds. The only person you had yet to say goodbye to Garroth. You look around for him, trying not to look to desperate to find him. Finally, you spot him coming out of the front door. He walks over and pulls you into the best hug of them all.
"We can make this work," he whispers in the midst of the hug. You sure did hope so. Once you and Garroth are done, you slowly unlock your car. Once that's done, you take even more time getting inside, trying to tell yourself that this was all just a terrible nightmare. As if to prove to yourself it wasn't you turn on the car, preparing yourself to drive away from them all. And then, it happens. You drive off, the boys of house 66 waving you off. It was over, and it would forever stay that way.
