Garroth's Flashback:
There I was, playing in the park. I throw a pitch to my brother Zane, my arm flying forward as the ball leaves my hand. He reaches his mitt up to it, and for a second, the ball brushes the top of it. I see it land in a field, Zane chasing after it like a dog fetching a stick. That's when I saw her. The girl with the beautiful, black hair. Her brown eyes sparkled in the sunlight, and even though I was eight, I still thought she was gorgeous.
I remember her walking up to me, "Hey, it's not nice to make him always fetch the ball,"she piped up. I also remember almost getting mad at her, but then realizing she had a point and that I shouldn't upset her if I ever wanted her to like me. Before I could ask her to join our game, she walked away.
That was how I met her, that was how I met Aphmau.

Garroth's POV:
I was shocked to see her, all the old memories came at me in a heartbeat. I knew Y/N had a roomate, but I didn't think it would be her of all people. I felt awkward, it was weird to see them both in the same room, two people I had cared for so deeply. She was awake, and I noticed her glance at the doorway in which I was standing.
"Is this an effect of the medicine, or is that really you, Garroth Ro'Meave," she stuttered.
I smile, "The one and only."
I ran over to her as she tried to get out of her bed, "I don't think you're able to walk yet," I said as I sat her back down.
"Oh, right," she whispers, staring down at her hospital gown.
"Why are you here anyway?"
I flinch as those words come out of her mouth, I was hoping she wouldn't ask what I was doing here. Deep down inside, I didn't want to tell her that I moved on. I didn't want to feel anything towards her, but it's hard not to with a girl like Aphmau.
No, what was I saying. I love Y/N, I had loved Aphmau. It was in the past, it was over with. I knew she would want to talk about all our old memories, the crazy highschool days, but I didn't want to bring those up. I didn't want to be stuck in what used to be.
Before a response can come out of my lips, a nurse opens the door, briskly walking over to Aphmau.
"Ahem, what are you her for again," she asks, looking at me nastily.
I scratch the back of my head, "Uh, I was here to see Y/N actually."
She looks over to the still body that is Y/N's. She nods, "Well, she's not quite conscious yet, so I think it's best you leave."
Once again, I'm cut off before I can respond. But this time, it's not by a nurse, it's from Aphmau.
"I want him to stay."
Author's Note: Once again, another reunion. Yup, but this time I want to be back for good. I addressed most of this stuff in my A/N's book, but I'll say it again. As you may have seen, the Garroth x Laurence x Reader is on hold. I'm sorry for that, but I'm just not motivated nor inspired to write that story at this time. I'm hoping to continue it, so don't worry if you were a fan. As for this book, yes, I will becontinuing it until the finale chapter. Sorry for an absence one again, but I promise this won't happen again without warning!-Kayla/Author
