I had just arrived at the airport going somewhere that is so new to me I looked down at the picture in my hand and I felt a tear slip down my cheek, the fact that someone that I loved and cared about was gone just hurt so bad.
Me:(thoughts) I miss you mom but I know that you're in a better place and that you're watching over me, protecting me.
I wiped the tears from off my face and walked to the gate and boarded my plane leaving what I once knew as the wonderful home I knew as Baltimore became a wasteland that made me feel all alone there was a lump in my throat and I felt like I was gonna cry again I held in the tears even though it was painful.
Me:(thoughts) leaving Baltimore and next stop a new life.
Then the plane took off sending me to my new life.
