The Audition and the Letter

Maria's POV

Sep.14, 2013 Saturday

I woke up 7 o'clock because today was the day for the auditions. I went to the bathroom to shower and after that I went to my closet and picked a presentable look which is a nice purple

shirt under a brown loose sweater, a pair of jeans and flats.

I was about to get my bike out of the garage when greeted he said he will me to the Opera Garnier and I just nodded.

I walked out of Richard's car when we were on the front of the Opera Garnier.

Wow! I never knew my soon-to-be-father has a friend who owns the Opera Garnier.The Opera Garnier!

I walked inside after thanking Richard for the ride. I walked to the office and "Hello I'm here to audition for the musical "Phantom of the Opera" I say to the secretary who seems nice has blond locks and brown eyes.

She handed me a form she said to fill it and wait until my name is called. After I gave her the form and  I began to wait nervously for my turn on the couch with others who want to audition.

My name was called that's when my heart began to beat so fast and my breathing quickened.

I entered the room when I saw three people sat on three  chairs. "So...Madamoiselle Day...wait are you the Madamoiselle Maria Day...the one who performed with a spectacularly and angelic voice of the 'Beauty and the Beast' Are you that girl?" The person who sat from the right say which made me blush and say "Yes monsieur...I am that girl that you say..." which made him excited. "Now please perform us..." A woman about 35 - 40 years old sat beside him say to me and I nodded and began to sing one of my favorites 'Think of Me'

I received a standing ovation and an applause from the three people.

I bowed to them and the person in the middle who looks 45 yrs.old walked towards and say "That was marvelous mademoiselle...Thank you for your time we will call when you get the audition." They thanked me and exited the Opera Garnier when Richard's car was waiting for me and Richard.

I entered his car and began to doze off on the way home. I was almost asleep when Richard say "So how's the audition" I just  say it's okay. When I made home Richard followed me there but I ignored him. I went to bed to gain more sleep and Richard went to my mom's bedroom.
