I was walking down the corridors of Lcyée Chaptal, in my sweater, thick shirt and a pair of tights under a skirt when I saw a flyer, saying:
"Masquerade...

Theme: Masquerade
Location: At The Gym
Time: 6:00 - 10:00 pm
Date: Dec. 24
Our theme for this year's prom is Masquerade. Be sure to wear masks!
With music, dancing, food and we would be announcing for Prom King and Queen. Vote on how popular, best outfit and best mask for the King and Queen.
P.S. We need extra hand for preparing the Masquerade. Find us at the gym.

Dec. 24!?! That's Christmas Eve...they're going to held it on Christmas Eve!?!?
"Maria!" I turned my head and saw Red, my best friend running to me, with a smile on her face.
"What?" Confused while not surprised, she was always this energetic and happy many times.
"My Mother just gave me $500 for a dress and shoes for The Masquerade, the biggest amount I've ever given....While, you...Let me guess your credit card." I shrugged my shoulders while she playfully rolled her eyes.
I just giggled...when Wendy and Monique called both our names.
"Hey, Maria. Did you found out that Carlo, our classmate just asked Joville as a date to The Masquerade." Wendy said.
"No way..." Red said, shocked.
"Enough of that!" Monique interrupted. I mentally rolled my eyes. Monique and Wendy were always the gossipers in our group.
"I found out that you and Christian, the boy from the other section yet a senior and Maria's student... you were in a car, making out." Monique said.
"WHAT!?!?!" Red and Wendy shouted while I kept quiet. Who saw us in that hour?...
"And get a load of this...Maria let Christian sleep in her house." Uh oh....I know that was a bad idea. I bet the school knows...
"How the Hell did you know?" I asked, anger coursing through me to who saw us and gossiped about it to the whole school.
"I don't know. There were also photos about it on the main board." I widened my eyes and said "What?!?!"
