Friendship At First Sight (The Philosopher's Stone)

Chapter 7

Harry and Lea walked through the train, looking for an empty compartment, she noticed the red-haired twins sitting with a boy with dark skin and dreadlocks, who was holding a spider.  Not long they found an empty compartment and entered, Harry placing Hedwig's cage beside him and Lea let out Star out of her cage, staring at the cat as it placed with a ball of yarn that Hagrid bought her. Harry was looking out the window, admiring the view, so he didn't notice the looks he got from kids and teenagers passing their compartment but Lea did and she was sure it wasn't going to stop, the feeling in her stomach bothered her every time she saw someone looking at her twin. 

"Excuse me" Her head turned towards the door, startled for she was too deep in thought, they saw Ron peering at them, "Do you mind? Everywhere else is full" "No, not at all" They both responded as Harry gestured to the seat next to him, passing Hedwig to Lea, she placed her next to Star, and the cat and the owl were left gazing at one another. 

"I'm Ron by the way" He introduced himself as he sat down, offering a smile at them both, "I'm Harry, Harry Potter" The green-eyed boy said as Lea added, "And I'm Amelia Potter but you can just call me Lea" She stuck out her hand towards Ron as he shakes it,  he gapes at them, specifically towards her brother. 

"So-so it's true?" His voice becomes quiet as he asks this, making the twins glance at each other with confusion, "I mean, do you really have the...the..." The boy continued, gesturing towards his forehead. "The what?" Harry asks with confusion still on his face, Lea sighed at how her brother can be so oblivious, "Your scar, Harry" She replies, making realization dawn on his face. 

"Oh, yeah" Her brother smiles as he lifts up his messy bangs, revealing the lightning-bolt scar on his forehead and at this moment, Lea knew that she was going to be overlooked by her brother, she had a theory that it was only with the adults but now she was proved wrong, for many children their age, like Ron, kept looking at her brother in awe and ignored her as id she wasn't even there. "Wicked" Ron said in an awe voice, breaking her from her thoughts. 

Lea looks towards the foo as a woman stops by their compartment with a trolley full of wizard candy, making Lea's mouth water at the sight of it, "Anything of the trolley, dears?" she asks sweetly as she peers at them, "No thanks, I'm all set" Ron answers, pulling out some mushed sandwiches from his pocket, with a sort of grimace on his face as he tries to smile.

Lea pulls out her coins from her pouch, Harry quickly following her actions, "We'll take the lot!" They both said as they gave their coins to the woman, who takes them and gives them all the candy they asked for, like Chocolate Frogs, Cauldron Cakes, Bertie Bott's Every Flavor Beans and many other. "No way! You two are like Fred and George" Ron cried out as they sat back down, each of them taking a candy. 

"Who's Fred and George? Were they the twins that were with you back at the station?" Lea asks curiously, eating a licorice wand, "Yeah, they are always pulling pranks on everybody! They're not like my other brothers" Ron responds as he eats a cauldron cake, "My older brother, Bill, works for Gringotts, then there's Charlie, who works with dragons, then there's Percy, the other boy that was with us, then there's Fred and George, me and then my little sister Ginny" 

They spend the next minute talking and talking, quickly becoming friends, Ron showed them his rat, that was once Percy's, Scabbers, the huge pile of candy was between Harry and Ron as Lea sat across them, devouring a pumpkin pasty while her twin was holding s box of Bertie Bott's Every Flavor Beans. "Bertie Bott's Every Flavour Beans?" Harry asks as he opens the box, "They mean every flavour! There's chocolate and peppermint, and there's also spinach, liver and tripe" The Potters grimace as Harry puts one in his mouth an starts to chew, "George sweared he got a bogey-flavoured one once!" Ron said as Harry quickly takes the bean out of his mouth, Lea giggling at him.
