The first few months at Hogwarts has flied by for Lea and her best friends, her time filled with classes, homework, helping Fred and George with some pranks and quidditch practice with her house team. She gets along with everyone on the team, which is a really good thing for she had feared they would tease her for being too young. The Captain and the Seeker of her team is Cedric Diggory; the Beaters were Jason Kenyon, a fifth-year boy with raven-black hair, and Louisa Green, a fourth-year girl with pale skin; the Keeper was Zoe Wilson, a third-year girl with ocean-blue eyes; and the other two Chasers were Dylan Panos, a sixth-year boy with blonde hair, and Chris Palo, a sixth-year boy with black-rimmed glasses.
She has also been doing her work mostly with Hermione in the library. They catched up with each other on what happened the week, wether it be about new spells and potions or a student in their year who has gotten on their nerves. In Hermione's case it was mostly Ron, the two are just like a cat and a mouse, the minute they met they can't stop fighting.
Lea wanted so hard to snap some sense back into the red-head boy, particularly with her fists or jinxes she learned, but Hermione held her back or when she was with her best friends Neville held her back while Seamus cheered her on and Dean trying to shush Seamus. But on Thursday, it was the first and last time Ron meet the wrath of the Potter. ~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-
In the Charms classroom, Professor Flitwick was perched on top of a pile of books so he can look over them, he had sent one long white feather to each student and placed them all in pairs: Seamus with Harry, Lea with Neville, Dean with Lavender Brown, Ron with Hermione, and so on and so forth. But Lea was wondering who was glaring at the other the most: Hermione or Ron.
"Ron is" Neville told her when she mentioned it, "The fire in his eyes almost matches his hair"
"But Hermione has that force look that can overcome any fire" She replied.
Before they could continue with their conversation, Professor Flitwick tapped his wand on the book below him for silence, "One of a wizard's most rudimentary skills is levitation the ability to make objects fly. Uh, do you all have your feathers?"
Everyone gave a nod or raised their feathers, he smiled before continuing, " Good. Now, uh, don't forget the nice wrist movement we've been practicing, hmm? The swish and flick. Everyone"
Everyone made the swish and flick movement with their wands without saying the spell, the professor looked around the room to see if anyone wasn't doing it correctly, "The swish and flick. Good. And enunciate. Wingardium Leviosa. Off you go then"
'Wingardium Leaviosa" was heard all around the classroom as the students pronounced it to make their feather fly, but so far no one has been able to, Lea sat with Neville behind Ron and Hermione so they heard their banter about the spell. Their talking was distracting her as the spell almost lifts off the table before falling back down again at their words.
"You do it then if you're so clever" Ron said as he nodded his head at Hermione's feather, "Go on, go on"
As the girl raised her wand to prove him wrong, seconds of their banter stopped, which allowed Lea to make her feather float, she pronounced the spell along with Hermione and made the wand motion.
Both their feathers started to float up to the high ceiling as the classroom quieted down, other students peering at their feathers in awe, others in envy, a smile grew on her face as she watched her feather go higher and higher.
"Oh, well done! See here, everyone! Ms. Granger and Ms, Potter's done it! Oh, splendid!" While Flitwick said this, Ron turned his back to the bushy-haired girl and pulled his books closer, laying his head on top with a frown.
