Broken Promises
Tess grabbed the chair's arms in terror as the Alpha gave her a verdict of guilty. She'd done nothing wrong and had no clue why this was happening to her.
She looked at the pack Luna and winced as the woman was grinning at the verdict. She sighed and lowered her head and in head prayed for leniency.
But that's not what her ex-true mate did, instead he sentenced her to the most horrendous punishment possible, the removal of her wolf. Her wolf growled that is not happening Tessa, so stop worrying.
Her wolf promised her she'd be back, then disappeared back deep into Tessa's mind. Buried herself so deep, she had to block her scent as it had even started to change as her wolf pulled so far back, she'd smell like a human already.
As far as Corey was concerned, he needed his true mate gone. His Wolf growling in his head at the extent Corey was going to get rid of their true mate made him extremely mad.
Tessa was pulled out of the chair and taken down to the infirmary. The pack doctor nodded and said to the Warriors, you can wait outside.
She was trembling, had to wrap her arms around herself. The doctor sniffed her and said if you have shields up, lower them. Tessa unblocked her scent and the doctor snorted and said well, I don't have to use much, your wolf is weaker than I thought.
With that said, he went to get his supplies, she stayed seated and in her head said Ariana, I hope you're ready for this. When the doctor came back in, his needle was already prepped.
He stuck it in her arm and before pressing the plunger he asked what she did to deserve this? Tessa said honestly, I came to find my true mate. Didn't know he had claimed someone else, your Alpha is my true mate and he's doing this out of spite. I haven't done anything to deserve this punishment.
The doctor removed the needle straight away as he scented the truth, then shot it into the sink and said all done, I'll put a bandage on, if you'll put pressure on the mark.
She held her arms after he applied a bandage to the spot and called the Warriors back in to take her to her car. Tessa was crying, sobbing as she'd got into her car.
She grabbed her box of kleenex and blew her nose, wiped her eyes before starting her car. The warriors laughed as they followed her to the front gate.
She sniffled as she felt horrible, she had just broken her promise to her parents. On their death beds, she swore she'd accept her mate like they wanted. But how she could accept her true mate since he'd already claimed another, a real blackhearted and ugly bitch as far as Tessa was concerned.
After she crossed the border and rounded a corner, she pulled to a stop and verbally accepted his hurtful rejection. As soon as she said the words, her wolf came roaring back, growling as she used Tessa's voice and rejected her soul mate, Corey's wolf Samson, which severed what little there was to the mate bond and silently pulled back what they received being fated their true mate.

Three months later, Tessa and her wolf were stronger than ever having spent the time healing from the severed mate bond.
To see her now, would have blown her parents minds. Her looks had changed, her scent had changed and she once again smiled.
She was going to head back to England where she'd been sent to boarding school. With her parents now gone, she had no reason to stay in America. She was happy to go back as soon as she contacted Alpha Elias and he said to just come home.
She sold her parents' houses and all contents, and much land to sustain a pack on to the council. Well except for personal items she'd packed and forwarded on to England. The pack members of her parent's pack scattered to the wind, joined other packs, she the sole remaining member of both family tree's according to her parents before they died.
