Chapter 5: Jaze has a hidden history with Nagami ?

Jaze's POV

I was on my seat this monday morning,bored. Well,I remembered someone today. She's Nagami,a girl I met when I was a kid. She's our neighbor,anyways. She has the same name as my bestfriend. So don't get confused,I have met two Nagami's. That kid was a cute one. Well,I'm sure she's in the same age as me now.

"M-mama gave that..... She said I should take care of it..."  The girl with black hair said. I felt guilty cause I broke something important to someone. "Then just make your mom buy another one.. or just say sorry.." I mumbled. She slowly shook her head. "M-mama's suffering from an illness.. She can't work already.." She started to cry. I sighed then rubbed her back. I picked up the pieces then glued them together. "There... just let it dry and it will be fixed." I smiled. She looked amazed then giggled. "Thank you ! I'm Nagami by the way." She giggled again. "Jaze." I replied with a smile. My mom came then took my hand,then left. Starting that day,I always saw her around our village,and we became good friends. We decided to save money to buy something for her mother also. One day,we are leaving the village and live in another one,so I went to the place where I first met her. She came after a while.

"N-nagami... I have bad news.." I mumbled. "What is it ?" She blinked. "We're leaving.." I mumbled again. She looked sad. "Oh... Will you ever get back again...?" She asked. I shook my head no. She went to me then hugged me tightly. I hugged her back,holding back tears. "Promise me,we'll meet again.." Nagami's eyes stared into mine. I stared back then nodded. "We will.. And I'll marry you when that day comes !" I had the courage to tell that then went to our car. I looked at the window,seeing her wave her hands,holding the coinbank we used to save money. "I will !!" She yelled back. I waved my last goodbye then our car drove away.

She has the same name as Nagami right now. I wonder how that girl is...

Mikoto's POV

Now that it's monday again,we have damn classes. Nagami and Jaze are quiet,and is not talking to each other. Maybe they felt awkward.I gotta get this two back to normal. "Oi Nagami." I looked at her. She looked back. "I can't understand this problem..." I pointed to a math problem,that I'm sure only Jaze knows. "What.. I can't understand.  Hey,Taiki,what do you think this is ?" Nagami asked. Taiki didn't replied cause he was sleeping. Great ! Nagami has to talk to Jaze. "U-uhm Jaze...." Nagami looked at him. Jaze looked back with a smile. "Yes ?" Nagami blushed at the smile,remembering the kiss. "T-teach this thing to Mikoto-kun... I can't understand it.." Nagami sighed then stood up,then went outside. "What is it Mikoto ?" Jaze yawned. "Nothin,I can clearly understand this." I chuckled. "Then why lie to Nagami ?" He blinked. "I wanted her to talk to you,so I would know if she hates you or is bust shy. No' it's confirmed,she's feeling awkward around you." I sighed. He looked upset. "Yeah..." He burried his face in his hands. "Damn..." He mumbled. Ms. Tonari came in. Nagami went back to her seat. "Hello class ! Well,I just wanted to congratulate Ms. Kizuna and Mr. Itsuka for winning the play !" Ms. Tonari giggled.

"Nagami,can you lend me your locker's keys ?" Jaze asked. It was the first sentence he said to Nagami this day. "Uhh... sure. Oh and,can you please take my notes too ?" Nagami gave him the keys. Jaze nodded. "Just follow us after,okay ?" I smiled. He nodded again then went back to the school. We went back to our dorm.

Jaze's POV

I went to the locker room,then took my books from mine. I forgot my keys at home,and Nagami and I have the same keys. I looked at her locker,which was right beside mine. I openned it,then looked at it. As expected,it's full of rolled anime posters and anime pictures. I took some of her notes,then I got startled by a box behind her books. I took all of the books away then took a peek at the box. I got shocked at what I saw...

It's the coinbox me and my childhood friend Nagami used when we're kids....
