Chapter 14: Nagami's birthday [part two]

Mikoto's POV

"Guess who." I said with a smile. "Mikoto." She laughed. I released my hands then went infront of her. Heh,Taiki sure was shy when he did that. I was watching. "Uhm,why are you guys showing up individually ?" She asked. "Because we planned it,so don't ask." I smiled. She stood up,then I dragged her to a room. "What are we doing here ?" She asked. "You'll see." I smiled. The lights went off,then the whole room turned into a galaxy-like place. Stars hovered around,and it looked like we were standing in between the whole place full of stars. "M-mikoto,t-this looks... Awesome !" Her eyes sparkled,staring at the view of the whole big room. "You love seeing stars sparkle,right ? Look at this !" I smiled,pointing at the brightest hologram of a star. She went beside me,then stared at it,for a very long time. "Wanna stay here ?" I asked. She nodded. "But I'm getting hungry..." She shyly said. I held her hand then went outside.

I told her to wait under a shady tree,then I ordered some food. We ate it there while sitting on the grass. It's almost afternoon,so the breeze is nice. "Hey,Mikoto." She looked at me. "Yes ?" I looked back with a smile. "Can you tell me more about your past ?" She said,drinking juice.

I nodded. We laid down,staring at the sky. "We were once a happy family.. Me,my mom and dad,my little sister.. We live in a house far from here that time.. We usually go out or our town for a vacation,but one day.. Robbers came into our house... Mom and dad protected me and Mika,my sister,then made us escape. They died with that,so I worked hard to make my sister study.. I worked part time jobs then payed for her fees.. Then a couple adopted her.. I agreed because t's for her sake. The couple promised that I could still see her... But then they left to another country,which made me lose hope to see her again... When I met you in Kindergarten,we were still together.. But not when we we're in the 6th grade,because I started skipping classes for part time jobs. I was just lucky to catch up with you guys.." I looked at her,then laughed at what I saw. She was asleep. This girl,asking me to tell my story then slept while I was talking ? Nice one.

I wanted to wake her up,but she looked tired. Her hair moving with the breeze. I sat up then carefully laid her on my lap. "Maybe that's why I fell for you,Nagami.... Your peaceful sleeping face,your kind heart,your cheerful smile.. Everything.." I said,talking to myself.

I stared at her for a lot of minutes. I looked at my watch,seeing that I still have one hour left.. Time sure passes really fast. I petted her forehead,which made her cuter when asleep. Now,I gotta plan on telling her how I feel.... Should I surprise her ? Or should I tell her plainly ? Well,fate will decide.

Nagami's POV

My eyes opened. The blue sky was seen. I felt a hand on my forehead,and another on my hand. "H-huh.." I looked around,then saw Mikoto staring at the skies. And the fact that he was holding my hand made me blush. "You slept too long,Harem Princess." He smiled. "Then why didn't you woke me up ?" I asked. "I can't wake a sleeping girl." He smiled. "I only have ten minutes left before Jaze's turn." He sighed. "Oh..." I said. "I want to tell you something,Nagami-chan." He motioned me to sit up infront of him,so I did. "Do you love someone already ?" He asked. I shrugged. "I don't know.." I answered.

"Well,I do." He smiled. "Who is it ?" I asked. "She has long black hair,usually wearing a jacket with a white tank top inside and a skirt,Usually bullied by Yuna,my bestfriend,Called as The Harem Princess,and last.. The beautiful,kind,and cute Anime lover who is sitting right infront of me and is the one who innocently overlooks the truth." He smiled. Blood rose to my cheeks. Another confession. "M-mikoto..." I mumbled. He just smiled then leaned closer to me. I sat there,shocked.

The breeze blew as our lips met. I sat shocked at what's happening,my eyes widened. His eyes were closed,and he was holding my hand tightly. He slowly released,smiling. "I know you love Blue raven than me and Taiki,but I'm happy to finally show you and tell you how I feel. I don't expect any answer from you,but..." He smiled then stood up. "I love you,Nagamiraya Kizuna." He smiled then handed me a bracelet,it's silver with a small key made of diamonds hanging. "You'll always hold the key into my heart,Nagami." He smiled once again then started to walk off. I sat there,watching him walk away with his hands in his pockets. I looked at the bracelet then wore it. "Hey." A voice said from behind. I looked behind,seeing Jaze with a smile. "H-hey..." I answered awkwardly.
