Chapter 20: Believe in Miracles

Mikoto's POV

Nagami is now in the operation room,an operation was being held. They have to fix something only Jaze knows.. Now the three of us are waiting outside. Taiki,staring at the ceiling,Jaze with his eyes tightly closed and his hands clasped together,praying she would make it. And me,leaning against the wall,hands in my pockets,thinking of what can happen. The door finally opened. At last. "Is she okay ?" Jaze asked quickly. "Uhm.. Kinda.. She might stay asleep for days. The operation took a lot from her." The doctor sighed. We smiled. "It's fine. As long as she's still wake up." Taiki smiled. "Can I see her ?" Jaze asked. "Yes." The doctor smiled then left. He went in with a smile.

Jaze's POV

3 days passed. She's still like that. Quiet,asleep.. I miss her.. "Forever.. right..?" I sighed. I can't take it anymore ! I wanna die ! I can't dare see her in a pitiful state... I can't.. Her finger moved,which made my eyes shift to her hands. "Nagami,are you awake ?!" I blinked. My eyes were swollen from the cries. Yeah,I'm a guy. I'm a guy that loves this girl,that cries all night and is not able to sleep because of worried thoughts.. That's how I prove I love her. Her hand twitched again,and then her eyes opened. Happy tears formed in my eyes. "Nagami,you're awake !" I smiled. She looked at me,smiling back. "Jaze.." I hugged her tight. She lightly hugged me back. "U-uhm.. J-jaze.. T-too tight my chest hurts..." She mumbled.

"Oh,I'm sorry." I released,then shyly chuckled. She just giggled softly. "It's okay." Those smiles.. Dang,I missed those ! "What happened after I was... You know.." She sighed. "You were taken into an operation,and then didn't woke up for 3 days." I said. "Oh.. Well,where are th—" The door suddenly slammed open. "Is it true ?! She's awa— Nagami !!!!" Mikoto smiled then hugged her. She just laughed. "Oh come on,you guys act like you never seen me for years !" She laughed. "Of course ! You scared the sh*t out of us !" Taiki sighed.

"Uhm..  Sorry about that day,Jaze... Our date was—" "Oi oi oi,don't be upset with that ! It's fine !" I smiled. "Woah,Jaze.... You finall—" "SHHHHHH !!!!!!" I covered Taiki's mouth. I don't want her to know about my actions when she's like that. She might feel upset. Nagami just laughed.

Jaze's POV

It's been a month since that incident happened. Nagami and I are out for our 6th anniversary. And I'll take this chance to propose. "Nagami... I want to tell you something..." I mumbled. We're walking at the sidewalk to our house now. "What is it ?" She blinked. I got down on one knee,then took out the box. I opened it,then looked up at her. "Nagamiraya Kizuna,we've been dating for 6 years. I think that's long enough to prove that we love each other so... Will you marry me ?" I smiled. Nagami looked shocked,Happy tears falling. I can feel eyes on us,but I don't care. Let them be. "Y-yes !" She smiled. I stood up then slipped the ring on her finger,then hugged her tight. "I love you." I smiled. "I love you too." She smiled back.

I leaned closer to her. For the first— Oops,I mean for the second time. [a/n: It's the play they acted at chapter 4. Read again if you can't remember xD] I kissed her lips. And to my surprise,ste kissed back. Well,I'm not supposed to be surprised. She broke away from the kiss then giggled,her forehead on mine. "Told ya.. Forever and Always." She smiled. I nodded. I carried her home after that.
