Eight,

*Quinn pov*

It was Friday morning.

Finally.

One more day of school and then I survived my first week of school. I get dressed in tight skinny jeans and a Cami underneath with a zip up hoodie that was zipped only quarter way so you can see my Cami. I paired it with my keds.

I walked out and it smelled like rain I loved it.

I saw Jacob walk out of his house.

He didn't look like the happy Jacob.

"Jacob!" I yell.
"Hey Quinn." He says as I reach up to him.
"Can I ask a question?" I ask
"Uh sure."
"How far is the school from here, walking distance?"
"Not that far. Why?" He replied.
"Wanna walk?" I ask innocent.
"Sure!" He says laughing.

We start to walk and its quiet. I decided to break the awkward silence.

"So how's you and Emma?" I ask.

He stays quiet.

Great I made it worse.

"Sorry." I say looking down.

He stops walking.
I stop and keep my head down.
I feel his finger go against my chin and pick my head up so I'm looking in is eyes.
They were a super pretty hazel.

"Don't be." He says and let's go of my face.

I put my head down and almost die.
I could tell he was watching me.
I then stop.
He follows.
I look up at him.
He looks down at me.

"God he's so cute." I think to myself.

Wait...

Oops I said that out loud.
Jacob smiles and keeps walking.
I Blush in embarrassment.
I follow behind him.

"Hey Quinn, did you finish your poem?" He calls out to me.

Oops I forgot to do that!!!

"Umm yea totally." I lie hoping he buys it. He does and keeps walking.

We were almost to the school when it started to rain super hard.

Jacob runs back to me grabs my hand and we start to run.
As we are running we are laughing I look at him and he's smiling as the rain falls on his face.

The rain falls on the ground super hard where you can hear it.

And as I hear the rain splat on the road and I look up to see Jacob look down at me with a smile that could light up a night. I figure out my poem.
