*Quinn's pov*

Today went by really slow.
Every period felt longer and longer.
The only thing that was keeping me happy was the rain sound hitting against the schools roof. Which hit as hard as it did this morning with Jacob.
I smiled to my self thinking about it.

After lunch I head to my last period.
Kelly wasn't at school today.

When I walk into the class and I sit down.
Face after face kept coming through the classroom door when finally I saw Jacob.
He smiled and my heart melted.

The last bell rung and Mrs. Robin begun class.

"Ok so for this whole period we'll be presenting our poems. Is there anyone that wants to go first?"

Of course no one raises their hand.

"Ok I'll just pick. How about..." Mrs. Robin scans the room.

"JACOB!" She says.

Jacob laughs and walks up.

Jacob begins

"She was like
The moon
A part of her
Was always
Hidden."

He said looking at me after he read the poem off his paper.

Mrs. Robin must have noticed us making eye contact because she them said, "so Jacob may I ask who inspired this poem for you?"

Jacob turned red.

"Well a very special girl I wish I knew more then ever." He said still looking at me, he then looked down and made eye contact with Mrs.Robin.

She smiled at him and then turned and smiled at me.

"How about we have Quinn come up?" Mrs. robin says. I smile and get up and walk to the front to the class.

I stand up there and the class is completely silent.

I close my eyes and hear the hard rain falling against the schools roof.

I smile and open my eyes.

"I had rain as my nature figure." I smile and make eye contact with Jacob.

I begin.

" the rain falling
Reminds me of you,
Because it's falling hard
And so am I."

I smile at Jacob and go and sit down.

The other kids read theirs and the bell rings.
