Thirty-one,

*jacob pov*

I walk up to Quinn door and knock.

Her dad answered.

"Come in Jacob." He says with his hand out.
"Quinn should be down in a minute." He says as he walks away.

I take a seat and wait.

"JACOBBBB!!" I hear someone tell. I look up and see Quinn run down the stairs.

"GUESS WHAT!!" She yells as she approached me.

I wasn't paying attention because she looked soo pretty. She had on a maroon tight fitting dress with a tent coat and high thigh boots.

"Jacob?" She says.

"Oh yea sorry you just look so beautiful." I say she blushes.

"Thanks, BUT GUESS WHAT?!!" She says all happy.

"WHAT IS IT?" I yell back all excited not knowing what we're excited about.

"We have an 80% percent chance of rain tonight!!" She says. I get kinda annoyed because I wanted it to be sunny and perfect but I smile because she loves the rain.

"Don't be sad Jacob, rain to us aren't tears of sadness but joy." She says as she grabs my hand and we walk out the door.

I was going to drive her but she wanted to walk.

I take her to the apartments.

"Remember this?" I say with a smile.

She looks down as if something bad happened here.

She looks up and smiles, "how could I forget?"

"Let's go." I say with a smile and we climbed up the stairs.

We get to the top of the roof.

Well me and the moms where getting the rings my dad and Quinn's dad came and set up everything for me.

It looked amazing.

I look over she's s amazed by the sight.

It had the white out door table I picked out and my Christmas lights all hung. Their was flowers all over the place.

On the table sat sea food (another one of Quinn's favorite) and an umbrella.

We walk over.

Quinn grabs the umbrella.

"We won't need this." She says laughing.

I laugh back.

She runs to me and hugs me.

"Jacob this is beautiful! I love you." She says in my ear.

I blush and hug her back.

"I love you too." I whispered back.

We sit and eat once we are done we talk about all the memories we had together. I get up the courage and start to ask her.

"Quinn sitting here listening to our memories I feel like we don't have a lot together. But they mean so much. There's  so little but they are worth so much to me. I honestly love you. And I want to make more memories together that last a lifetime. And I hope we can last a lifetime. But I'm trying to say..." I get up and get on one knee.

"Will you marry me?" I say looking up to here.

"OMG Jacob!!" She says as she starts to cry.

"Of course!!" I stand up and put the ring in her. We hug and I feel sprinkles of rain fall.

She pulls me in for a kiss and as we kiss the rain comes down hard.

We run back to my house and we go to my room.

I give her sweatpants and  a sweatshirt.

"Come fall asleep to the sound of rain with me?" She says walking to my bed.

I nod.
