Chapter Six
2 weeks since my fight for survival had begun, I was being chased by 4 rogues. The ground rocked under my paws as I sprinted through the woods. I was getting stronger and training myself but even after a fortnight, I still had no idea what I was going to do. So me bored out of my skull, hungry and tired fell into a dumb trap as I fell into what seemed like inevitable death, the wolves descended.
Adrenaline pumped through my veins, as I ran like a legend through seas of trees. I could feel everything move around me like light as I laughed, the rogue wolves were being left behind me as I pushed past thick branches and into open air, the ice cold wind surrounding me smashed itself into my lungs, allowing cool breathe to escape my mouth. I felt like I was home, like this land I was where I belong. I let my body and mind relax, accidently letting loose my guards. My scent travelled for miles as I turned to explore the land.
"Do not move"
A deep voice, ordered me to stay put. The person's breath froze my neck and my hair spiked up in surprise and defense. I defied what I had been ordered and spun around to greet the stranger by locking my eyes with his. The person smiled before grabbing my wrist and dragging me through the long grass. "I would've given you an easy death" He sighed, still pulling me with unlimited amount of strength, "But you didn't follow my orders, so now you're going to suffer" He whispered into my ear, causing it to actually hurt. "What the hell?" I sneered back, "Well excuse me, I just attempted to save my life" He laughed so hard, birds flew into the sky, adjacent to each other.
Houses started to come into view, did I just trespass onto someone's land? People started to pull back their children into the safety of their homes. I was dragged by the stranger street after street, "Your name" He asked randomly, his grip on my shoulder tightening. "My name, why don't you tell me first?" I smiled at his confused face as he turned me to face me. "Don't underestimate me, dog. Do you want to be drained? Cause I'll gladly do it" His eyes turned into a deep red. Vampire, no wonder this land seemed like home to me. I pulled away from him, a frown formed on my face as he continued to push me into a large mansion.
The mansion was decorated with gold linings, with large windows and a long pathway, the door slammed open and another stranger walked out, his face hidden by a large hoodie. "I thought I smelt a dog" He yanked my hair, making me squint my eyes in pain. "Show me your wolf" He ordered as he sat on a garden chair. I had this sudden urge to test his patience. "Why? Aren't you just going to kill me, whether I show you or not." The stranger in hoodie gave the man who brought me here a stern, heavy look. "Shift" He said again, this time his command caused my ears to internally bleed. I couldn't believe that I was caught and was going to suffer, it was true, history is a circle always being repeated.
I looked up at the strangers, I felt my wolf whimper as she was inspected. "Blaze." The hooded guy leveled to my height to look into my petrified eyes as another person walked into the pathway. "Everyone's going crazy, why is that on our land?" She asked pointing at me. "Don't worry, it will be soon discarded" He kicked my wolf's stomach, causing me to instantly to shift. "Or maybe not" Blaze added when he made contact with my eyes. "Why are your eyes red, dog?" I stood up, crying out in pain. "Sorry to disappoint you, I'm only part wolf" I brushed down my clothes, never taking my off him. "Impossible" He muttered, as he pulled me closer towards himself. "It can't be true" He muttered again. "Alex, the dodgens" He ordered "Maria, calm down everyone, the dog will soon disappear of the face of this forsaken world" I could almost see a smirk form under his hood.
"I have a name" I announced making Nixon stare at me with surprise. "And I'm supposed to care, why?" He asked as Alex dragged me into the mansion garage. I couldn't be bothered to retaliate as he pushed me down a long flight of stairs and down a dark corridor, the unwelcoming smell of blood, caused hunger to swirl in my stomach. "Your executions tomorrow" He stated as if he had no sympathy. "Are you sure? I mean that's quick, do you have all the stuff you need?" He gave me a slight smile. "It'll be short and clean, your death" I was thrown onto the floor of a cell. "Goodnight Mia" He grinned as I stared at him with utter disbelief, how the hell did he know my name?
~
"I saw it" I heard voices coming from the other side of the dodgens "She's no ordinary, dog" I froze, my body still in dream land. Someone was talking about me, I stood up as Blaze, still in his hoodie opened the door to my cell. "Time to go back to hell" I grinned at him and did a little curtsey. "Gladly" I was going to die anyway, so I should do it with some pride. I didn't have time to look at the other people with Blaze because a large bag made out of cloth was thrown over my face. This was it, it was only a matter of heart beats.
I felt the sun warm up my body, as I hit clean air, I was forced to walk for miles, and up a long flight of stairs, every inch of my body ached with fatigue, I heard people clap, cheer and talk loudly to one another. "I sentence, this dog to death, for trespassing onto our land." Someone announced. Suddenly the bag was taken off, everything blinded me, the light, the amount of people and the beauty of the land surrounding me.
Blaze held an axe, while Alex held me down, other important people, I assumed stood around me. My eyes burned as I watched Blaze come closer. I diverted them elsewhere, that was when I saw him. A person with an identical face to someone I saw everyday, when I looked into a mirror.
"Do you know Jessica Nixon?" I asked, forgetting my situation, all my attention was consumed by a man stood on my left. He looked at me with surprise and disbelief but then he smiled. "You're dying questions, consist of asking me if I know someone. Yes, I knew Jessica, why?" He came out the crowd and stood over me. I pushed myself off the ground.
"Then are you my father?"
A/N: I feel so evil for stopping the chapter here. Buwahaha. I've got the power ᕙ(⇀‸↼‶)ᕗ
