I slapped my hand over my face, "Did I just say that?" I chuckled, I sat down, sharing seats with Jacob, I tried to look up but dropped my attempts to look Nixon in the eyes, my heart pounded, the heart is uncontrollable I reminded myself. You can't legislate who you love. As I scanned the quiet room for distraction my sight fell on Aaron. His dark aura spread around the atmosphere. "He is not your dad" He planted his views slowly into my head but I refused to water the thoughts. "It's not up to you" I gritted my teeth but still I found it hard to look in Nixon's direction. "Yes it is. I am Alpha" Aaron barked loudly, shocking everyone. I laughed silently "And I'm the Luna" I traced his jawline as I walked around him "We haven't officially rejected each other so, I know how hard it is for you not to claim me, how difficult it is to stand there and spill acidic hate when all your wolf wants is to accept me" Aaron grabbed my arm, stopping me from circling him. "Shut up" He screamed in my face "You're not my Alpha, I don't live by your rules and brother, I am enjoying the torture" I smirked and leaned closely into his ear, I whispered "How was trying to sleep last night?" I knew that the kiss me and Blaze shared had effected Aaron, but before I could continue, Blaze grabbed and dragged me away into the corridors.

"You need to stop" Blaze pushed me against a wall "Stop all of this"

"No" I replied in a way he was not expecting causing him to punch the wall behind me, cracking it. "They deserve this" I smiled "They deserve every little bit of hate I throw at them" I chewed the inside of my cheek, "Do you think this makes you equal?" Blaze's eyes danced with flames "This makes you a lot worse than them" He stood on the twig that controlled my emotions and snapped it "Don't" I challenged him, my fangs began to rip out my gums, causing my mouth to sting with pain. "When you said that Nixon was your dad, there was nothing but relief in him and your other 3 brothers, because of them you are alive because of them, the money they provided you and the map marking all rogue lands. Wasn't that enough?" I gasped as Blaze pulled me then pushed me against the wall, my skull hitting against the wall and causing me to scream in pain, why was Blaze doing this?

"Before my parents passed away, me and Calvin hated each other, never spoke to each other, I avoided him like the plague." Blaze searched me to see if I following him into the past. "But after my parents died, Calvin protected me and treated me more like a son than a brother" The realisation that Blaze and Calvin had endured the death of their parents made my body to sink. "But you don't have to have both parents dead to see the true bond that siblings share" Blaze fell to the ground "So, stop all this bitter hate and move on. Mia you've got to let go"

I followed Blaze back to the main room "You do realise he is my mate, don't you?" I found myself choking on everything I said, "You don't love him, that's enough for the time being" Blaze was holding my hand, sending heat down my arm "Enough?" I smiled sweetly as Blaze pushed open the room door, everyone stopped muttering and all eyes were on me. "You've told the senate about my dreams haven't you?" My attention diverted to Maximus who only nodded "And this get together is for corporation" Maximus suddenly beamed "Yes" I understood that Maximus was going to such great lengths for me because he didn't want me to be deprived of my werewolf side. "Okay" I took a seat and sat in the middle of the room. "You mean you are okay with this" Calvin bent down to face me "Yes, I don't want the past to stop me from making clear decisions that shape the future" Alec gave a me a sour chuckle "What made you change your mind?"

"The fact that I can't bear losing either side of me"

Plates and spoons clanged against each other as vampire and wolves ate together, I was sat next to Blaze, he had a strong grip on my thighs to stop them from shaking. "I'd like to apologise" I stood up, everyone's stares burned through me, making my skin turn to ash. "Because of me, all of you are having to change your opinions on each other, centuries of hatred amongst our kind crushed due to a mere hybrid" There was a couple of laughs on the table "But I owe a bigger apology to my father and brothers, sorry for faking my death" I mumbled quickly. It was Blade who laughed "Actually we think it was quite clever what you did" I sat down, not wanting to ruin the moment.

"I too have news" Blaze stood up and smirked at Alex and Calvin "All of you are aware about the romantic rumours about Alex and Calvin, and I, who started these rumours have the pleasure to announce that they are all in fact true, Fallen Monster's own gay couple" People cheered before I quickly got up and smacked together Alex and Calvin's heads as they were much to my convenience sat together. Calvin dropped a kiss on Alex's forehead making the poor guy bright red. Blaze tutted "Not anywhere near me please" His smirk grew bigger "I'm still in shock about not having a sister in law" Someone of the far other end of the table cried out "Get together with Mia's brothers, then you'll have no more worries" Blaze chuckled at my brothers dumbfounded looks, living at Fallen Monsters had made me realise that everyone here was equal and no one was afraid of speaking from their hearts. "I am sorry but I already have my goals set on someone" His eyes locked with mine as the crowd made oohh noises.

"No way" The twins, Jacob and Joshua stood up in a frenzy. "This is our cute sister" They wrapped their arms around me protectively as Blaze rolled his eyes. It was Aaron who stood up next "Let them be" He sighed "They've already taken the first step to mutual love" People began to mutter like crazy on the table "You're not-" I paused to look at Aaron's sad eyes, they reflected what his wolf was feeling like "I want you to be happy" Aaron mumbled quickly "If I force you to be with me for the sake of my wolf, I'm scared you'll make the same mistakes mum did, and I don't want you or your future pups to live in more danger than you're already in. Besides Blaze's right you don't need both parents dead to realise the true connection between siblings"

I hugged Aaron and wept tears into him, is this what Blaze meant by letting go?
