THREE

It's been a week since training and I haven't bothered to speak with Mason. I decide to go for a run to keep my mind off of things and to concentrate. I run deeper and deeper into the forest until I no longer knew where I am. My pack has never explored this territory. I stop suddenly as a twig snaps and a rouge peers out from behind a tree. Then another and another. I'm surrounded.  

Suddenly I'm pinned to the ground. I stop breathing and instinct tells me to fight. But I can't move. Soon my clothes are ripped off and each of them are hitting and kissing me . I try and clear my head in order to mind link with Mason.

MASON'S POV

I'm standing in the forest trying to keep my mind off of things I needed to see my older brother and now that I'm coming back a cold fear rises through me. My body goes numb. Alex is being attacked.  I shift and run for her. I track her scent to the deeps woods. I'm in rouge territory now. My brother's territory. I soon see her from afar. Completely naked. One slightly larger then the others is on top of her while the other two have her pinned down. 

Anger rushes through my veins as I jump on the rouge tearing his limbs apart tasting the iron from his blood. He's dead before I know it. Soon I turn to the other two and I tear right through them.  I shift back and run to her. I need clothes so I decide to take what I can get from the bloody rouges. I carry her in my arms covering her naked body with my arms.

I shouldn't have left. Why does She have to be so reckless?

The one thing that scares me is my brother. What will he do to get what he wants?

Once I reach the pack house I am ambushed by the pack. Her father runs out and meets up with me. "Clear the way!" Paul and Andrew, Alfred's Beta, moves everyone aside. I walk inside quickly and I go up to her room. Crystal is inside with clothing and a hot shower ready. I place her down in the bath and I walk out not wanting to see her like this.

ALEX'S POV

I'm sitting down in my fathers study with Mason right behind me. I was called into his office after I woke up from my nap.  He's been pacing back and forth thinking to himself. My body still feels numb from the beating I had taken earlier today. Even after the hot shower I had taken I still feel dirty. 

"Dad what's going on?" I ask.

 "Your going with Mason, I can't have you here. Not right now you need to leave."

 I gasp, "Dad no. You can't please."

He slams his fits into his table "Alex your leaving with Mason tonight you have no choice. I'm not losing you like I lost your mother. It's not safe for you here!"

I want to run and slap my father for his ignorance, "Making me leave is losing me."

He looks at me and growls. Mason grabs me by the waist and pulls me out of the study. We go up to my room, but once we get there my room is empty.

"Your stuff is loaded.  I'm so sorry. If it makes you feel any better Crystal is coming along since she is the new female Beta." I scowl at him but I'm also great full because he saved my life. We stand in the center of my empty room. "You're Luna." He says quietly.

I laugh, "No I'm not. You haven't marked me yet and even if you did I would refuse the Luna status."

His eyes get cold and his body tense ,"Alex whether you like it or not you will be Luna. You have no choice." I roll my eyes and push him away knowing it would anger him even more, "It's not your choice it's mine."
