Truth and Teddy

Rose's POV

"His gorgeous look at his blue/blonde hair" I cooed looking at Teddy Lupin. The son of Remus and Nymphadora Lupin. Aberforth told me of the birth when I dropped Luna at his place. I immediately apperated to Remus's place. After answering a question about our school life he let me in. Now I was holding little Teddy in arms as he slept. Tonks was seeing her mother after her fathers death. As Andromeda hasn't been the same since then.

"Thank you Rose and it is good to have you back" Remus said smiling serving tea. "You know there is secret radio talk show. Everyone on our side has nicknames and you were called Pegasus. Whilst I am still called Moony" he told and I cringed at the nickname. "Rose want were you going to tell me before the attack at the wedding?" he asked.

I sighed looking at Teddy before answering the question. "The first time I was held at Malfoy Manor, Voldemort wasn't pleased with my refusal to join him. So on a full moon he had Greyback bite me in his wolf form. I can't turn into Pegasus anymore" I finished quietly as i started to cry.

Remus took Teddy from me and put him a moveable crib. Then pulled me into a hug letting me cry into his chest. "I'm sorry that happened to you and I wasn't there to help on full moons. Why didn't you tell me sooner?" he asked calmly whispering in my ear.

"I didn't want you or the others to look at me differently. So every full moon I transformed deep in the forbidden forest. So I wouldn't hurt anyone. During my stay at the Manor Voldemort had Snape make me wolfs bane potion.  I was then locked in a separate room away from the other captives" I explained.

"On the last full moon Greyback was locked in the room with me. But he didn't have the potion and he..." I trialed off starting to cry again. Remus hugged me again and I said "I had my wand so I did a spell the next day, so I wouldn't get pregnant." Tonks came back and feed Teddy as Remus told her what had happened to me. They both promised to tell no one.

"Does your patronus still look like a Pegasus?" Tonks asked. I nodded and conjured my Pegasus while galloped through the air. I looked at enviously smiling at how free and happy it looked. Suddenly something jumped onto my lap and I looked down to see my cat.

"Angel, how did you get here?" I asked patting head as she purred happily.

"I brought her here from your house before it was destroyed by deatheaters" Remus told me. I nodded my head in understanding still patting a now sleeping cat. "Rose can you please stay here with us? I can help you with the full moon" Remus stated.

I looked at Tonks who nodded her agreement and I sighed. "Sure it would be nice to have a new place" I told them. Tonks pulled me into a tight hug before going to make dinner. I helped her and after dinner I went to the spare room to sleep. After kissing Teddy's cheek goodnight and saying goodnight to the two parents.
