He woke up with a smile and a big yawn. His eyes looked still heavy. With a thump his arm feel over my body . He looked out the bed curtains to the noise of barking.
" oh.. did he wake you up"

Ashton crawled , bringing hid arm up to the edge of the bunk and pulling himself over my body with his other.
"Ashton.. your heavy "
His head snapped back " are you calling me fat ?" With a smile written across his face, I pushed him. He giggled before getting little licks on his neck.
He looked at the little pup. Best up paw but super hyper. Crying. I looked past Ashton. Hid food bowl. He needed food.
"Ashton his food bowl. He's hungry "
"Dam little guy, sorry"
I watched Ashton drag his feet around. Sitting making the bed sink in. He didn't wanna get up, neither did I. He slumped up. One foot moving to push him up. His hands on the wall helping him balance.

I watched him swing from left to right to the food, opening the bag to the crisp, cold air. Pouring it as he knelt down to the dogs level and watched as the dog ate like no one feed him forever .
I was thinking , and I had to do it now, I ran. I jumped. He fell and the dig food went everywhere from out of the bowl and the bag.
