Chapter 6- RIP

Joeys POV

I'm not sure what I did, or what I said, but Sasha was mad. And now gone. Forever.

When she walked out of the building, she walked right into a NYC street. She walked right into a taxi.

We ran out to her lifeless body on the middle of the road.

"Why did you hit her!?" Meghan was yelling at the driver while dialing an ambulance.

"She walked out in front of me! Right when the light turned green also! It's not my fault for your idiot friend!" The Taxi driver with a heavy New York accent screamed at us.

After about 5 minutes the ambulance came and put Sasha on a stretcher and we rode in the back with her. We were lucky that our trip here was unexpected, so we didn't have any luggage to carry around with us.

At the ER

Meghan's POV

"When will we get to see her?" I keep asking the reception desk lady, Deborah.

"Hun, your friend is in critical condition. nobody knows what's gonna happen yet."

We've been sitting in the waiting room for about 3 hours now so it's about 8 am. I'm about to stand up to go to the food court.

"Meghan-san. I'm so fricken hungry." Joey says almost on cue.

"Let's go to the food court then." Joey stands up and helps me up.

"Thank you"

"No problem" Joey says as we hold hands and walk.

A couple hours later

Still Meghan's POV

Me and Joey decided to hang out in the food court for a while so we didn't have to wait in the crowded waiting room.

Just then a nurse ran in through the double doors

" Is there a Joey and Meghan in here!"

Joey and I stand up immediately and run over to her.

"What's wrong? Is Sasha okay?" I yell as she ushers us down a hallway.

"Your friend is in a coma. We're not sure if she'll make it. We're calling you in to say your last words to her."

She stops at a door on the right and turned to us with a sad look on her face.

"Right in there."
