Chapter 27- Gender Reveal

Joeys POV

"I think we should go. I mean, it's taking a risk, but it would still be fun." Meghan said while taking a sip of her coffee. We're deciding whether we should still go to Playlist Live, even though Meghan's due date is the day of Playlist.

"If you say baby." I leaned over and kissed Meghan's cheek and she blushed. She's so adorable.

"It's so nice of Sawyer to bring our furniture to the new apartment. Did you ask him to do that?"

"No I didn't. When would I have had time? Anyway, he said we can go to the apartment soon."

It's been 4 hours since we were told by Sawyer to go out. We went to Republic of Pie for lunch and we still have to go buy some groceries at Whole Foods to put in the fridge that we got with the apartment.

"Alright let's go then." Meghan and her big baby bump tried to stand up but failed. I stood up and gave Meghan a hand.

"Thank you sweetie." Meghan put her head on my arm as we walked down the street to my car.

Still Joeys POV

We pulled up outside the new apartment seeing no sign of Sawyers car or a moving truck. Maybe they just parked in the garage.

"Got the key?" Meghan asked as I pulled out the front door key.

I unlocked the door and...

"Surprise!" I saw Sawyer, Cat, Kalel and Anthony, and some of our other friends crowded in our new living room.

Sawyer and the others had moved a brand new couch and side tables into the living room and said they put beds in the spare bedrooms along with in the master bedroom

"Oh my god guys! Thank you so much!" Meghan said as our friends smiled.

"That's not all! Follow us!" Cat, Kalel, and Ingrid said before we followed them upstairs.

"Left or right?" Ingrid said, referring to which room we wanted to see. We chose left as we close our eyes.

"Three..Two..One! Open!" Meghan opened our eyes to see the master bedroom fully decorated. The walls are painted a light greenish blue, the color of my eyes. There was a new, higher and softer bed. My dressers and desk were in one corner, Meghan's desk was right next to mine, our laptops sitting side by side.

"Oh my god! When did you guys do this? Thank you guys so much!" I spoke this time. It's unbelievable how amazing our friends are.

"I've had the new bed in its box at my house for a while now. I thought we could give it to you for a Birthday present or something, but now was a perfect time! And there's more!" Cat said while leading us to the room on the right side of the hall. We closed our eyes and went in.

"Open!" The 3 girls yelled.

We were surrounded in a beautiful nursery. The walls were white, but I noticed two buckets of paint, one pink, one blue, in the corner. The crib was a white bassinet placed next to the wall. There was a dresser with unisex colored onesies sticking out of the drawers. The room is beautiful.

"I-I. Yo-you! Thank you!" Meghan managed to get some sounds out before pulling us into a hug.

"You're welcome! We hope you like it. So are you ready to find your baby gender?" Kalel says.

Meghan looked up at me. "Ready?"

"Ready." I say before kissing Meghan on her forehead.

Meghan's POV

While we were upstairs, the boys, Sawyer, Shane, Tyler and David (who managed to come to find out, wen though he didn't want to leave Sasha alone in the hospital), made the mixture.

We went outside to the backyard, which was actually pretty big for an apartment, and me and Joey stood on the tarp that was laid out for us. Shane and Cat said they wanted to dump it over us. Sawyer had mine and Joeys camera. The others had their own cameras to vlog the moment with.

Ingrid started the countdown.

"Five.. Four..Three.. Two... One!"

The last thing I saw before I had to close my eyes was a light pink covering mine and Joeys faces as we kissed.
