        Jason had been the first one to wake up by a loud slam coming from downstairs

At least he thought he was the first one to wake

Jason looked over at Lana in admiration but his smile quickly dropped when he noticed her tear stricken face. He grabbed her face gently examining her puffy face from crying earlier,  Lana had unconsciously winced in pain.

Jason continued to examine Lana with a puzzled expression

'Why would she be in pain and cried earlier? I thought she was finally happy to be with me-'

*Slam*

Without hesitation Jason had covered Lana with the blanket and had rushed downstairs without a weapon. He knew if it were just a human trying to break into his home then there was no use to bring a weapon.

Jason began walking down the stairs slowly without making a sound, after reaching the last step he walked confidently to the noise he was awoken by earlier. He turned on the lights to see Dylan sitting on the stool, arms crossed on the counter.

"Up so early?" Dylan smirked

Jason was taken aback by Dylan's sudden appearance

"Why the fuck are you in our house?" Jason glared at Dylan with his hands in a fist

"Isn't it obvious? I'm here for Lana"

"Showing up at our house and stalking her isn't going to get her to fall in love with you Dylan"

"Isn't that how you got her to fall in love with you?"

"How ever Lana fell in love with me is none of your business, she's mine now and you need to accept that and leave her alone"

"Actually I take back my statement earlier, Lana isn't in love with you she's just infatuated with the idea of being with someone like you"

"What do you mean by her being 'infatuated to be with someone like me'?" Jason's eyebrows furrowed in confusion, his grip tightening on the edge of the kitchen counter.

"Just think about it- you're a hot, young, and good looking renowned criminal. Before the media declared your 'death' you practically had young girls drooling over you. They fantasized about you without even knowing what you looked like, you were the talk of the town Jason! Don't you think Lana would have thought the same way as those other girls?"

Jason thought about what Dylan said but denied that Lana would ever be with Jason because she was infatuated with him.

"Lana would never have stayed with me if she was just infatuated with me, she loves me"

"Well you might have a point about that Jason, Lana is definitely not like the other girls. But wasn't she forced to stay with you until she 'fell in love'?"

"Stop trying to get in my head Dylan it's not working, Lana hated me at first and now she's in love with me end of story"

Dylan put his hands up in defense "Whatever you say Jason, all I'm saying is Lana had no choice but to 'fall I love with you'. She has a bad case of Stockholm Syndrome, and the sooner you realize that the better it will be for all of us."

"You-"

Before Jason even had the chance to reply the lights had turned off and turned back on to see Dylan was no where to be seen.

"Fuck!" Jason slammed his hand down on the counter

His mind began rushing with the previous statements Dylan had said earlier, he questioned everything about his relationship with Lana.

Was Dylan right? Did Lana really love him? Did Lana only fall in love with him because she was practically 'forced' to?

Jason soon shook those thoughts out of his head and began walking upstairs only to be greeted by a groggy Lana.

"Jase are you okay?" She said with her eyes half way closed

"Yes I'm fine doll, why? What did you hear?"

"Well, I thought I heard you talking to someone then I heard a loud slam followed by an angry sounding Jase. So I thought I should come down here to make sure you're ok" Lana said swaying side to side from lack of sleep

"You're so cute, you know that?"

"Yes I know" Lana winked

"I love this confidence doll, but I don't love that I woke you up- I'm taking you back upstairs"

Jason picked Lana up and carried her back to their room, he laid her down and put the cover on her.

"Doll I-"

Jason was interrupted by Lana's snores

"Love you" He laughed giving her a kiss on the cheek and wrapped his arms tightly around her

"I will always be here to protect you doll, no matter what"

Yay I finally posted a new chapter!

School has been keeping me pretty busy but I plan on having a schedule soon

Can you believe Dylan had the nerve to say that to Jason?

P.S I changed the person who plays Dylan to a Korean actor by the name of Kim Soo Chul. (the picture of the guy in the very beginning of the chapter) I've been wanting to change Dylan's character for quite some time now, and while watching Doctor Crush I thought he would be a great fit.
