"Elena, Stella, hi." Bonnie said when she answered the door.

"Hey, I need your help and maybe your grandmother's." Elena said. "Can we come in?"

"Sure." Bonnie said, stepping aside and calling out "GRAMS!"

"Heya, Bonnie." I said.

"Hey, Stella. Elena, what's wrong with her?"

"Three tequila sunrises and one whisky." I answered.

"Ooh." Bonnie said pulling a face.

"You screeched like a banshee, Bonnie?" I turned my head to see a small, petite older woman who looked to only be in her middle 40s with a short curly hair do.

"Hey, Mrs. Bennett." Elena said as she and Bonnie dropped me on a couch.

"Now, Elena, how many times do I have to tell you? Call me Sheila. Now, what's wrong with this one?"

"She had a couple drinks too many." Elena said. "I would have taken her to my aunt, but Jenna's out right now."

"Bonnie, keep this young woman busy and Elena could you help me prepare a little draft for her in the kitchen?"

"So...." Bonnie said, racking her brain for something, anything to say to Stella. "How do you like Mystic Falls, Stella?"

"It's not bad. I guess I lived here when I was a whole lot younger, but I don't remember it much. Your grandma isn't gonna tattle on me, is she?"

"No. My grams won't ever tattle on you."

"Thanks for letting a lush in your house."

"You're not a lush,Stella. Who were you drinking with?"

"Stefan's older brother, Damon. I went to the Grill to get a snack and do some homework and I ran into him there. He bought me one tequila sunrise with a cranberry juice chaser and then one tequila sunrise became three tequila sunrises and we were doing my homework and--"

"He kissed you." Bonnie said when I trailed off and made random gestures with my hands. Goddamn, I was never drinking whisky again. If I got this fucked up over one glass of whisky, I was never EVER drinking it again.

"Uh huh. And we were kissing when Stefan and Elena interrupted us and then Elena drove me over here to sober me up. Bonnie, my forehead feels hot, can you feel it? And my face feels flushed, please tell me I'm imagining this."

"It's probably just the alcohol doing this to you." Bonnie said. Bonnie got up from where she'd been sitting facing me on the coffee table and pushed my bangs out of the way and laid her cool hand on my forehead. The second her hand came into contact with my forehead, she gasped and so did I.

"Did you see that?" I asked when Bonnie ripped her hand back like I'd burned her.

"I have no idea. Did you see you getting blasted off your feet?"

"Yeah." I said, nodding and then wishing I hadn't cuz it made me dizzy. "Ooh, I'm gonna lie down now." I said, laying myself on my side on the couch.

"I'll be right back." Bonnie said before rushing off.

Other POV

"Bonnie, what's the matter?" Her grandmother asks when Bonnie rushes into the kitchen, all but running into Elena in her haste.

"Stella said she was feeling hot--"

"That's just the alcohol." Her grandmother said dismissively.
