chapter 8: bad ass

 " welll what you said to elena was pretty damn mean. only a dude with a superiority complex woud say shit like that to elena or anyone else. or would say stuff like  and i qoute" over come you embed jock stereotype, not to mention you almost got into a fight with steffan because he challenged your knowledge of the subject you teach and your authority as a teacher."

" Office now" was all that tanner choked out .

"cant."

"what! what do you mean you cant?"

"this is a new school for me i dont know my way around yet and the map i had was about as usefull as the instructions from ikea. just ask thebig bolnd jock over there- sorry dude im bad with names- he had to show me to class.But i have a solution! elena can you show me to the office?"

"certainly" she answered we both grabbed our things and rushed out of tanners classroom before he could say anything but ofcourse my shoe had to come off as we were rushing ut.

" have fun updating your jack ass profile, tanner" i said as i went back to get my shoe and a snapof the look on his face.

" how did you know he had a jackass profie?" elena asked  as i put the shoe back on.

" i.. i dont know. the info was just there in my mind"

" it's been a rumor for years that he has a file on the students deemed ' jack-asses"

"wel i guess  that's no longer a rumor then."

" no, and tanner will probably hate you the rerst of your high school career"

" so? let him hate me for being honest."

"thanks for what you said by the way"

" it's no big deal, i can't stand people like that. but uhm if you  dont mind me asking what was mr.tanner talking about ?"

"my parents car went off a bridge last year with my parents and me in it. they died they couldn't get out."

" oh god i know you've probably heard this alot and sick of doing so but im so sorry elena"

"thanksand it's ok you're like the first person in a while who i think has meant it. so how did you end up in here anyways?"

" my dad is the new doctor because  the old one - shit! i had no idea that was your dad"

"it's ok. stella really"

" i know , im sure your dad and mine dad would have worked together well"

"im sure they would have. now i heard that  'the new girl' totally burned tyler lockwood this morning. what did you do?"

i laughed at that. "physically well  nothing . but verbally and ego-wise..wel..hehehe . he laughed at my last name because it has the word wolf on it -.- "

"what?"

" i know i dont get guys either" we laughed .

" soo  i told him he looked more like a small town douche bag to me"

elena stopped and laughed her head off. i quickly grabbed my cam and snapped at pictureof elena laughing .

" mhm not bad.you like?"i asked showing elena the picture.

" wow i look....."

" happy?  like you havent got a care in the world? like the new girl just told you the most amazingly funny joke ever?!"

" all three" she said . an unscoincious smile slipping her face.

" you're really into photography aren't you?" elena asked as she opened the door for me.

" yepp"

" and elena what are you doing down here?"

" she was escorting me here. IM SORRY, im sorry im just so lost around here. mr.tanner might have called about me?"

" yes  yes he did. principal hickman is waiting for you."

" thank you, very much"

" have a seat miss fell" the principal said gesturing me to a chair in front of his office.

" so you're self aware why you're brought down here correct?"

" i was brutally honest"

" well yes but mrr.tanner tolld me you were rude to him in front of the entire class, and told him that he had a superiority complex amongst others."

" i was just sticking up fr my new friends. he was INCREDIBLY rude to ms. gilbert  and he said and i quote' i was willing to be lenient last year for obvious reasons but the personal reasons ended with summer break' end quote. theacher or not  i dont think anyone to be rude to someone who lost both parents in one shot." " alright.. since  it's your first day here, and you were stuicking up for someone but maybe  im going about it the wrong way . i will let you off with a warning . but next time you wil get a punishment of some sort. are we clear?"

"crystal"i said a little too excited.

" thank you sir"

" you may  leave now " he said as  the bell rang.

" STELLA !" i heard elena call my name surrounded by steffan  bonnie and caroline * sigh*.

" did you get in any trouble?'elena asked

 " nope got off with a warning"

" did you seriously ask tenner if he enjoyed being mean to his students?" bonnie asked.

" yeah dude  was being an as and sometimes im brutally honest"

"no kidding" replayed bonnie.

" oh this is matt donavan-"

matt cut her in  " or as you preffer blond jock kid" we all shared a laugh.

" well that was pretty nice" caroline said looking not interested in the conversation.

" caroline can i talk to you?"

"shoot"

" in private"

"ugh .. whatever"

well elena told me she was going to wait for me by her car  she was going with steffan i guess to say her goodbyes while i talked with ccaroline.. this wasnt going to be a long conversation.

" caroline im so sorry  i shouldnt of have snapped at you like that.. and well i-"

" its ok !  dont worry about it i kind of deserve it . but were cool now?"

" yeah" i smiled.

"ok"

after that i went off to find elena and we headed home.
