Chapter 14

I saw a black convertible pull up in my driveway. My heart starts beating fast, I'm so nervous right now. I walked out of my house and make sure the door was locked, then I saw Liam get out of his car.. And oh my.. He looked handsome!! He had a black tuxedo on and I could not get my eyes off of him. I felt butterflies in my stomach because I knew he was looking at me from head to toe.

I walk down my front porch and was waking over to Liam

"Umm you look am- amazing" he said while smiling

"Uh, thanks, you too" I said while smiling back

He walked over to the passenger side then opened the door for me to get in his car. I carefully get in without bumping my head. I got in then buckled myself in. Finally Liam got in and buckled up as well. We pulled out of my driveway then went to the place that he was taking me

"So, were are we going?" I say mumbling

"It's a surprise" he replied

"Oh.." I said

"Yep" he said

I started to get nervous again, I just didn't feel comfortable right now, I want to know were in the world he is taking me at. 10 minutes passed then we pull into a driveway and I believe this is his house.

He stopped the car got out and opened my door for me to get out. I got out and I shut the door

"Can you tell me now" I said

"Close your eyes" he said

I closed my eyes, ugh man were is he taking me, I say to myself. Liam guided me to the place.

"Ok when I count to 3 you can open your eyes, ready? One, two, and three" he said

I open my eyes slowly and all I see is a whole bunch of floating lanterns everywhere, I saw a table, 2 chairs, 2 plates, A pink flower in the center of the table, and slow music playing, and I guess this was his back yard of his house

"Liam is this all for me?" I said as I was smiling

"Yes" he said as he looked at me then smiled

"It's- its beautiful" I told him

But I loved the whole set up and everything but this is just a getting to know you date, didn't think it was going to be this romantic

"Thanks it took me a while to set it up" he said

He walked over to the table and looked at me with a smirk on his face

"You know that you can sit down" he said to me as he chuckles

"Oh yeah sorry" I said as I walked over and pulled out the chair and sat down

Liam sat down and just stared at me and smiled

"So, who do you live with" I said trying to break the awkwardness

"Oh, I live alone, my mom and dad sent me here to live alone because they could not stand me anymore and they live in Ohio right now" he told me

"Oh, and that doesn't bother you?" I said

"No not really" he said

I Nodded

" yeah my mom is always at work and I barley get to see my dad, so pretty much I'm home alone all the time." I replied

"Oh, I'm sorry" he said

"No its alright I guess " I said

"Umm hey I will be right back just have to go in my house and get the food" he said as he stood up and walked away.
