School was finally over and i made my way to the parking lot and I put my bag in the car and waited for Liam if he ever would be coming. Sure enough he was.
"Hey" he said as he smiled
"Hey" I replied
"So you ready to go?"
It came to me that I forgot to ask my mom if I could go with him, no I need to make up a lie.
"Oh crap, I forgot to ask my mom I was gonna be with you, I need to go home real quick to tell her, do you just want me to meet you at your house??"
"Oh ok, yeah I guess if you have to" he mumbled
"Alright, see you in a bit" I told him
"Later" he said while walking away
I pull into my driveway and I see that my mom is not home, what the heck, she told me that she would be home when I get home from school. I stop my car, pull out my phone and call her
"Hello?" She said
"Hey, I thought you were going to be home when I got out of school?" I questioned her
"Oh yeah, I forgot to tell you, I'm gonna be home around 8, I have to stay after for a few hours because I got a meeting" she told me
"Oh, ok I just wanted to make sure" I replied
"Well ok, I need to go see you when I get home bye love you!" She said
But before I could say I love you back she hung up. Well she is really busy..
I start my car up again then head over to Liam's house. I still wanted to know where he was going to take me.
I pulled in Liam's driveway, got out of the car, and made my way to his front door. I knocked 2 times
"Hey" Liam smiled
"Hey" I smiled
"Come in" he said as he open the door wider for me to come in
"Ok" I said while waking in his house
"Yeah I have to be back at 7 by the way, but were are you taking me?" I told him
"Oh ok, and I can't tell you" he said as he bit down his lip
"Aww, why can't you tell me" I said pouting
"Well don't you like surprises?" He told me
"Well... Yeah" I said
"Ok then" he smiled
So me and Liam decided to watch some tv because according to him this thing didn't start til 6 and it was 4: 30 right now. I was sitting by Liam and my phone was going off like crazy, I didn't want to be rude and pull it out, so I just put it on silent.
It was about 5:20 and Liam wanted to get there early. Liam got his keys and leather jacket, and we were on our way. A couple minutes pass and I forgotten that my phone was going off like crazy. I checked it and I saw I had 3 Facebook messages, 2 text messages, and some miss calls from kyrstin, I go and check my messages
Kyrstin,
Hey ash, I'm so sorry about what happened at lunch today... I'm stupid
Kyrstin,
Ash please don't be mad at me
Kyrstin,
I don't want to lose you
I didn't reply back to none of her text messages
15 minutes later passed and we were at some type of festival that they were having in downtown Kalamazoo. Liam pulled into a parking lot and got out. He opened my door like any gentlemen would do.
"What are we doing here?" I told him
"We are going to watch some fireworks" he said as he was pulling a blanket out of his trunk
Awww!! This is going to be so romantic!
"Oh, nice" I told him
Me and Liam started to walk to find a place to sit and watch the fireworks. We had a perfect view! We sat on top of a hill and I guess the fireworks were going to be lit in the rosa lake and the would just be the beautiful thing ever, you know I was really happy and excited.
Liam spread the blanket out for me and him to sit on. We were waiting for the fireworks to start, so I decided to make a conversation with Liam
"So, do you like mattawan or no? To me it's boring as hell" I told him
He chuckled
"Yeah it's alright, but I wish there would be more things to do you know?" He said
"Yeah agreed" I replied
We both looked at each other and just stared into each other's eyes and just forgetting about the whole world.
"I like you" he said
Wait? Did he just say he liked me? Umm...
"Oh... You do?" I mumbled
"Yes, I don't know what it is about you, your just so beautiful" he said to me and smiled
I felt myself blushing
"Aww thanks, you are too, your the most gorgeous guy I have ever seen" I replied
When I said that to him he just stared at me for a long time. Shit did I say something wrong? I decided to look down. I herd music staring to play, i turn and face Liam and he turned his music on so there was some sound in the background. The song called "clarity" started to play. I love this song
Liam tap me on my arm and I turned my attention to him. Then his mouth gets closer to my ear
"Even though I have known you for a couple days, I think I'm falling for you" he said
I can't believe what he just said to me.. He likes me... Why though?
"Really" I told him
"Yes" he said
"Your not the only one" I told with a smile on my face
He smiled back, I felt him grab my hand and squeeze it. I lay my head on his arm. The fireworks started and it was so romantic. Well does this mean that me and Liam are going out? Hmm..
