Sam paced back and forth near the front door. Cas wasn't responding to his calls, texts, OR DM's. Even Dean and Gabe kept calling him. Nothing.

Lilly was following Sam's every movement. She didn't know what was happening, but she sensed his distress.

"Sammy, I'm sure he's fine." Dean watched his little brother pace back and forth.

Gabe nodded. "If something happened to him, we would've got a call by now."

"What if he's dead?! What if the police are on their way over to tell us-"

Sam's rant was cut short by a phone ringing. The three of them looked at the coffee table and saw Sam's phone lighting up with a picture of Cas displayed.

Sam almost dove for the phone. He answered quickly. "YOU SON OF A BITCH WHERE ARE YOU?! I WAS WORRIED SI- Why are you crying?! What's wrong?!"

"S-Sam, I-I killed someone..."

"Wait, Cas, you what?!"

"I killed someone, Sam! I was driving home and someone jumped in front of the car and... And-" Cas started bawling again.

"Cas, calm down. Where are you?"

"Police station... They kept me for questioning..."

"I'm on my way, OK?"

"O-okay..."

Sam and Cas hung up and Gabe and Dean started with the questions.

"Where is he?"

"Is he OK?"

"Why was he crying?"

"Guys, I'll explain later. Dean, I really need your car."

Dean nodded and fished his keys out his pocket and handed them to Sam. Sam took them and hurried out the apartment, grabbing his wallet. He ran to Dean's car and hopped in, started it, then pulled off.

All the while Cas was close to passing out. They had put him in a holding cell while other cops questioned witnesses.

They had let him use his phone for that one call, then confiscated it.

Cas sat in the corner, tears falling from his eyes, while his cell mate, who was a very burly dude, watched him wearily.

'Sam, please hurry. I need you... I really need you!'
