I honestly loved her more than ever. Even though we just met, I feel like I'm in love. I know it's weird saying it because I just met her. She's just perfect. Weeks pasted by. It was the beginning of December. We were still awkward teenagers living in a home where our parents didn't know too much. I still cared for her though. We were like normal brother and sister, I guess. We would fight once in a while, but still love other anyways. On the Thanksgiving, she texted me. After reading the text, "Meet me at home whenever..." I immediately went home from my job at Hyvee.

"Hey." I noticed she was her favorite red sweater and some sweats.
"Hey, weren't you working?"
"Umm yeah, but it's okay right now. What did you need to tell me?"
"Umm, just hold on. Sit down. Do you want anything to drink?"
"Just grab me whatever..." She casually wanted over to the fridge and grabbed two Arizona teas.
"So..I just wanted to say thanks." Thanks? She handed me the drink.
"Thanks for what?”

“For being there for being this entire time. I know it's been tough on you. It has been for me too. I just don't know what to say Alex...”

“Well?”

“I've thought about this for so long. I'm not kidding. You mean so much to me. I just can't. I can't be with you. You know it too. If we weren't going to be a family, I would reconsider it.”

“But can't you just give me one chance? Just one?”

“Alex, you need to understand this. What if we were going to really date. What would our parents think? I know your mom and I don't have a good relationship, but my dad seems really happy ever since my mom. Please Alex. Can't you just understand?”

“I do. I just want you to give me a chance. So thanks for what then? I just don't get it.”

“I just wanted to thank you for everything you given me. You do really seem like an older brother to me ever since my mom. We do have some differences and similarities, but to me, you're like an older brother. Please Alex. Don't leave me because of this.”

“I'm not. I just wish you would give me a chance.”

“I'm sorry Alex. I really am. You know I love you..as a brother.”

“Well, see you at home later. I'm just going to go back to work then. Tell mom I might be home late for Thanksgiving dinner.”
“Oh okay. No problem.”

I just left like that. I didn't know what to do. I didn't know what to say really. Thanksgiving this year isn't at an “okay” start.

"Alex wait..."

"Yeah?"

"You know I love you right?"

"Yeah I do. I love you too. Happy Thanksgiving..."

I know. Lame ending. I'll work on this more. Hehehe. I am currently updating this at 1:27am on 11/19/13 cause you guys are requesting this & i have insomnia. so might as well write. hehe ^^
