As we reached the cinema I couldn't help but smile to myself, I was here with the most perfect guy in the world and everything in my life was just looking up. I honestly couldn't think of anything right now to ruin my mood.
We walk up to the ticket booth as the lady gives us a small glare, it was obvious she didn't want to be here.
"Two please." Simon asks the woman as she reluctantly prints off two tickets, not saying a word throughout the whole process, he hands her the money and walks inside with the tickets tightly in his grasp.
"Food?" He asks as we got to the sweet shop just inside. "We should have just bought stuff before we got here, the stuff in here is like three times as expensive." I tell him, it was a valid point. I looked around and bit my lip, I didn't want him to think that I was taking advantage of the fact that is paying.
"Ill buy food cause you bought tickets." I tell him, walking away and not giving a chance to protest. I picked up a few bags of sweets and a medium popcorn, I wouldn't be eating much of it anyway, I'm not much of a popcorn lover.
I take everything to the till and buy us both a drink, I had a diet coke and he had regular.
We walked inside the venue and we were both deciding on where to sit, we only had regular seats so we could only sit either at the front or the back. We both decide on the back as I thought that my neck would ache if I sat right at the front, hopefully thats what he was thinking too.
We sat down on the seats next to the isle in case we wanted to go to the loo in the middle of the film without having to awkwardly manoeuvre ourselves past middle aged men. As we got comfy, putting our bag of goodies on the floor in front of us we sat waiting for the film to start.
It was a little bit awkward for a few seconds, not much to talk about.
"So, what film are we actually watching." I ask, realising I've managed to walk in, sit down and buy snacks without even knowing the film.
"Me Before You." He told me and I couldn't help but laugh, we were here to see one of the most soppy love stories of 2016.
"I never saw you being a hopeless romantic." I tell him with a chuckle, he just shook his head, "Hey going to the cinema was the last minute decision, it was either this or the secret life of pets!" He argues and I nod, I'd rather this than a kids film.
We sit and talk for a few more minutes until the film started, the female actress was a favourite of mine in Game of Thrones so I new she was going to be good, and she didn't let me down.
I had to admit I did get a little bored during the beginning, but as soon as the romance started I started to enjoy it, it was 'P.S I love you' all over again.
I got very glued, I had only just noticed Simons hand literally right next to my face, his arm over the back of the seat above my shoulders. I couldn't help but smile to myself, how cliche. I bit my lip and looked up to him, causing him to look down to me. I don't even know why, and I never will, but I leant up and kissed him, resting my hand on his cheek pulling him ever so slightly closer to me.
Luckily there wasn't many people around us so they couldn't hear and get grossed out. I don't even know why the fuck I'm sat at the back of a movie theatre making out with an older boy that I met only last week. It's like I'm a 14 year old all over again. I pull away and rest my forehead on his, sliding my hand down unconsciously to rest on the bottom of his neck.
He smiles down to me and shakes his head, "I can't believe I have a crush on a girl who likes making out at the back of movie theatres." He whispered, leaning his head back down and kissing me once more, the movie playing in the background loudly, but I couldn't hear a single word.
The move ended as everybody flocked out of the theatre, it was around nine o' clock at night, pitch black. The lights around the outskirts of the city were beautiful, lighting the way towards Simons blood red range rover.
I get in the passenger side and look over to him as he hops in, my parents would be home by now surely. Hopefully, I kinda miss them. "Just drive me back to my place and that should be good." I smiled, fastening my seatbelt. Work tomorrow, ugh.
The car drive was a comfortable silence, we were both obviously slightly tired, I spent most of the time leaning against the car window admiring the streets of London.
We turned the corner arriving at my street, pulling into my driveway.
Something wasn't right, something was terribly wrong.
There was a police car parked outside of my house where my mums car should be. I frown and step out of Simons car, him jumping out shortly after knowing something was wrong. As I approached the door a police woman got out of the car, walking towards me with a file of several pieces of paper in her hand.
What the fuck is going on, where is my parents.
"Where's my mum?" I asked the woman as she looked on to me with an intense emotion of guilt and sadness. "I regret to inform you you're parents have been involved in a fatal car accident, I'm going to need you to come with me please."
