Before Mackenzie Became Popular

Chapter 2: Introduction

It is time to line up and Mackenzie's  teacher clapped her hands. "Ok everybody, let's go to the library!" They walked single file and there was a girl that pushed Mackenzie.

"Hey watch where your going!" Mac yelled. "Oh yeah? Who is going to make me?" She said with a devilish smile. The girl has straight black hair, shiny blue eyes, and wearing a bit of makeup on her. Then, she looked at Mac's guy that she has a crush on. He was walking all alone. "Hey little girl," she said with a smirk, "you better stay away from my future bæ!" And she stomped off.
O.M.G.... THAT STUPID GIRL! What is she going to do with MY future boyfriend? I saw him first! Huph, jealous girl.

At the library, instead of working, that mean girl is flirting with Mackenzie's future husband. I wish I can strangle her but I can't. We have to work. She was sad and angry. She did have tears in her eyes. I know it's ridiculous but she loves him. It's love at first sight. After when Mackenzie finished working for a whole day, She didn't see her mom. Instead she found Grandma Elizabeth.  "Oh Mac! My dear sweet Mac!" She said excitedly with arms wide open. Mackenzie sat on her lap.

"Grandma, where is mom and dad?" She ask. "Oh don't you worry dear. She is fine. You see, she is having a little... Trouble." And then, Mac got up from her lap to the floor. She went  zooming into her room and cried when she missed her mom. Oh where is mom? She cried until She is asleep. The next morning, she woke up and found her Grandma cooking breakfast.

"Hello Mackenzie! I cooked some brilliant chocolate whipped cream waffles. It's your favorite!" She gave Mac a plate but somehow, she didn't feel like eating it.

"Uh, no thanks grandma... I need to get ready," She told her. "Oh. Alright sweetie. Let me know if you are any hungrier ," And she put Mackenzie's leftovers in the fridge.

Before Mackenzie got up from her chair, her grandma called out to her. "And by the way Mackenzie, your step father and your mother will come here when you get home for school," and she kissed Mackenzie on her forehead.

Mackenzie waited at her bus stop and hopped into the bus. When she arrived at school, Mackenzie evil eyeballed the mean girl that was rude to her and flirting with her 'future husband.' "Ok class, welcome back. Sit still while I call on you," and she called out the students once more. "Marc? Here. Nayomo? Here. Calissa? Here. Marie?" When she arrived at Marie, Mackenzie heard the mean girl say "here." The teacher continued following the list. "Anthony? Here. Mackenzie?"

Mackenzie just stared at the girl blanklessly. "Uh, Mackenzie?" Suddenly, Mackenzie was awake. "Oh I'm so sorry miss. I'm here." She said. "Next time, pay ATTENTION!" Mackenzie just rested her head on the Desk and that was it for the rest of the day.

When Mackenzie went home she is so excited. She jumped out of the bus and ran all the way home. When she was at her mom's driveway, she went inside the house immediately. "Mom! Step... Father... Are you there?" she called out. "Over here honey! We have a surprise for you!" Mackenzie heard the voice and zoomed to the baby room. 'Baby room...? Do... They have the b-baby...?' she thought. When she came in the room, she saw her new father and her mother holding something.

"Shhh sweetie. Come and look quietly." She came closer and saw a baby. "I-is that my brother or sister?" She asks. "She is your new baby sister!" she said with eyes full of excitement. "Oh wow! What's her name?" Her mother's eyes sparkled. "Her name is Ally." Mackenzie looked at her new sister. She is beautiful! Then, Mackenzie remembered that she had homework.
She ran away from the nursery room and plotted on her bed.

The next day it was Saturday morning. Mackenzie woke up and she went in the nursery room. She saw Ally with sparkling blue eyes that are staring at her. Oh Ally, you want to come out?" and after she lifted her out of her crib and set her on the floor. "Ahh wah!!" the baby was crying. "Shhhh! You will wake mom up!" And after she said that, her mother came in the room.

"MACKENZIE!! What are you DOING?!" Her mother yelled. "I-I was just trying to put the baby on the floor," She said feeling guilty. Her mother picked up the baby and dropped her back in the crib. "Mackenzie darling, I know you are too young to understand but Ally needs to stay in the crib," she scolded her. "But WHY?" Mackenzie wailed.
"You see," her mother started when taking a deep breath, "your sister can choke!"

Mac felt sorry and guilty at the same time. They just got the baby and she almost killed her sister. "I'm so sorry mom! I didn't know!" Her mother looked at her in despair. "It's ok. But now, be more careful ok?" And her mother left. Mackenzie still looked at the baby but then Ally started crying. "Mom! She needs her bottle!"
