Before Mackenzie Became Popular

Chapter 7: Moving Again

Mackenzie slowly walked home in the heavy rain once more.
Oh. Why do I have to move? Can't I live with Anthony? Oh well, I will visit him quite often. Soon, she arrived home. Ally was playing with her toys as usual thinking about Diva. "Haha! Don't worry about her. She is fine." Mackenzie conforted her sister.

Anthony's POV
He was at his house trying to get some rest but suddenly, there was a knock at the door. He opened it surprised to see Marie crying. He let her in but he didn't know why.

"Oh Anthony! I need your help!" she cried to him. "Why?" Anthony ask. "Because! Your sick girlfriend hurted my feelings," and she cried so loud, that his ears were ringing.

"What did she do?" he replied. "She called me fat, ugly, and even not beautiful at all!" To be honest, he doubt Mackenzie would do that but... Anthony believed Marie! So stupid of him!

"What?! She would never do that! Is it true?" and then she nodded yes. He couldn't believe he was dumb enough to believe such a mean person that can lie through relationships! Why? Why did he believe her? Suddenly, he decided to phone call Mackenzie. After 3 rings, she picked up the phone.

Anthony really didn't want her to pick up the phone but it was too late. "What did you do to Marie?!" Anthony yelled at her. "What are you talking about Anthony? I did nothing wrong!" "oh yeah? Then why she came to my house crying her eyes out?! I never seen her so upset before!" Anthony hears a scoff coming from the other line. "Anthony! You know better than that! We just got back together and here we are! Having a fight once more!" and then, Mackenzie started crying. "This is serious! She is not faking! I just... Know it!" Mackenzie sighed. "Anthony, I had enough! If you are believing this faggot then... Maybe you would like to stay with her more than me then!" Anthony felt anger coming from inside of him. "If that's what you want, FINE! I will! We are over forever! You hear me?! Don't even speak to me again! We are officially-!" then, he heard a click on the line.

What have he done? He really didn't mean those words to her at all... Right? Marie is controlling Anthony isn't she...? She played with him. "Get out." he told her finally. "What do you mean darling?" she snickered. "Get. Out. Marie..." he said deeply. "Alright, alright! Just call me soon ok? Bye!" and she left. Anthony plopped himself to bed and cried.

While Mackenzie cried, she was having second thoughts of moving. Now she would like to move, more than ever. She really does now. She really wants to get out and live freely. She doesn't care anymore. She kept crying until her sister came.

"Um, sister... Mom changed plans... She uh, got a job already in Stonecut..."
Mackenzie sniffed and wiped away a tear, "oh. Alright."
So, Mackenzie jumped out of bed and packed her things. Suddenly, her mother came in.

"Um, honey you better pack your- oh!" she said while perking her head inside Mackenzie's room, "you are packing your... Things already?" Mackenzie didn't even glance up to face her. "Yes mother! I hate this school!"
"Well, there will be a school called Orange County High ok? You will go there," then, she kissed her daughter's head and then, went to do her bidding.

Suddenly, Mackenzie decided to call her boyfriend. "Sorry, I can't answer you right now. Please call me back!" Then, Mackenzie hung up.
She just didn't care anymore. She had no friends, and also, NO MORE CALLIE OR POPULARITY! Or at least, that's what Mackenzie thought...

Soon, Mackenzie and her family all went away and drove off. It was a long way... So, the next day came and they were almost there. Mackenzie opened her eyes and looked at the time on her sparkly leopard phone. 9:40 A.M.

"Mom, did you call the school yet?" Mackenzie asked. "Yes. But I don't think the principal told your class yet..." Suddenly, Mackenzie received a phone call. It read Unknown Caller ID. Mackenzie answered.

"Hey Mackenzie! Do you remember me? Your Enemy!"
Mackenzie gasped and said: "How did you get my number? Why did you call me?"
"Mackenzie, I got the number from your ex-boyfriend!"
Ex... Boyfriend?!

"Um... Yeah but I don't believe you! I mean, we did have a little fight but I know he still loves m--" Before Mackenzie could finish, she remembered that she was moving.
"Loves you? Huh. Then, why aren't you at school? Did you... Ha... Move?" then, Mack can hear her snicker.

"Sh-shut up! I... Still like him you female dog!" she yelled. Then, she finally realized that she is still in the car but at least her family was outside putting in the gasoline. They have trouble.

"Oh really? Then, why did Anthony called me and said that he really wants to be with me forever and then he started crying huh? Oh I forgot. You left him. Haha! Are you dumb? Do you realize what you are doing right now? That's why he doesn't call you, you sausage! Wow... Seriously!"

"Th-that's not TRUE! He LOVES ME!" and Mackenzie cried. "Don't believe me? Find out yourself," and then, Mackenzie heard a click.
Mackenzie couldn't believe it. She was having the worst day of her life. She kept in her tears for her parents to not notice. But, Ally has.

"Sister, why are you crying?" she asks. "You promise not to tell anyone?"
"I promise!" she squeaked. "You might be too young but... I have a boyfriend..."
"What's a boyfriend?" Ally said with curiosity,  "OH! Is it someone you kiss? First KISS?!"  Mackenzie sighed. "Yes, exactly," Mackenzie signed, "my ex-boyfriend..."

"Wow. So... You broke up?" Ally questioned her. "Yup. We did. Happens to everyone. Including you." and Mackenzie thought about Anthony. So, Mackenzie decided to phone call Anthony. After 4 rings, he answered. "Hello?"  Mac bit her lip. "Um, it's me... Mackenzie? You broke up with me..." Silence. Total silence. In fact, it's making her uncomfortable. "Um, Anthony? Is it true? Please just tell me. You know, I still love you after all this."

Mackenzie heard sniffles across the line. "Anthony? You alright?" She asked with concern. "Mackenzie, I-"

Confession, I do add more details now to each chapter. I figured it wasn't enough at all and I was right. There was tons of mistakes happening in each chapter so I proof read it. I can't stand those mistakes that my past self did. I grew better and stronger with my literature and I hope it pleases all of you despite my errors. Thanksies!
