Before Mackenzie Became Popular

Chapter 5: Happy or Nah?

When Mackenzie saw behind the oak tree, she couldn't believe her eyes. Anthony was KISSING Marie. She tugged him closer so he couldn't escape. "How COULD YOU?!" she screamed her voice cracking. Finally, she stopped kissing him. "Mackenzie NO! It isn't was it looks like! I'm telling you the truth!" Mackenzie blew him off. "No! I do not WANT to talk to you ever again! You hear me?!" poor Mackenzie was too angry and hurt to hear him out.

Suddenly, he grabbed Mackenzie by the waist and she spun around facing him and looking at him in his dark blue Sapphire eyes. "W-Why did you did you do that?" She asked. "Because you got to hear me out!" He replied. "But why should-" but before she can answer, he gave her a sweet kiss. She was in shock! She was so shocked she was frozen right on the spot. His lips tasted sweet. When he let go, she saw that Marie saw them. Her jaw was open and she couldn't speak or do anything. Finally she came unfrozen and yelled, "What are you doing Mackenzie?! HE IS MINE! I will get my revenge on you!" and she ran off crying.

Then, he gave her another kiss only this time, it was passionate. Mackenzie didn't mind at all. He was her crush and he was kissing her! After a long time, he let go once more.
"Does this mean we are boyfriend and girlfriend?" Mackenzie asks. "Yes," He blushed and they hold hands on their way home. After walking for about 10 minutes, Mackenzie saw a girl that looks hurt! She decided that she will help her! So she left her new boyfriend and went to help the girl. They got to her but she didn't say much.

"Oh my gosh! What's wrong? What's your name?" then, she looked at her and said, "I am Diva," she sniffed. "Ok but what's your problem?" Mackenzie asks. "My father and my mother got in into an accident, and they are dead!" She cried. "What?! You know what? Let's go to my house," She replied. "O-Ok," she sniffed, "I feel so alone and lonely..."

They walked and walked. Finally, they were at home! Mackenzie really hopes that Ally isn't in here... She opened the door and everyone came in the house. "You can stay as long as you like," Mackenzie told her, "but you can also play with Ally or her toys."

"Thank you!" She said with happiness. Suddenly, her boyfriend turned Mackenzie's head towards him. "That was so nice you did with that girl," he whispered. "Thanks!" and she blushed. Then, he kissed her. When they are done, Mackenzie asked, "Oh and one more thing, what happened back there you know where Marie kissed you?"

"Well when I was waiting for you, I believe Marie might have read that note from behind and went to the tree and kissed me when you were about to go behind the tree."
"Oh." was that all she said. Her fists clenched at the thought of Marie's name. Suddenly, Ally came in the house. She is 7 years old.

"Oh hi Ally!" Mackenzie chirped, "we just found a new friend that can play with you!" "Oh goody!" Ally jumped. "Now go have fun!" Mackenzie smiled.

Anthony thinks that Ally was cute with Diva. He laughed. "Your sister and Diva are having so much fun! I kinda enjoyed it." Mackenzie just smiled. She knows her sister is cute but kinda annoying.

It was Saturday and Mackenzie was woken up by Ally. "Wake up! Please! Mackenzie help!" her sister screeched.
"What? Leave me alone," she grumbled. "Diva is moving to a foster home!" she replied. "WHAT?!" Mackenzie jumped up. "Please do something!"

Mackenzie ran to find Diva. She finally found her in Ally's bedroom, packing her things.

"What is going on? Why are you leaving?" she asked. "I'm going away," she said sadly.
"What?! You can't! You are family!" Ally stood there. Shocked. "It's not me. It's your mother. I heard you were moving?" Diva said between teeth. "No! We can't! I have a boyfriend here and everything! It's been 5 years and we're moving again?! What a cruel mother!" Mackenzie grew tired and angry from always leaving the people she loves. "You have no choice Mackenzie," she told her, "You will have to leave him."

Mackenzie ran into her room and cried. She decided that everything was hopeless and that is one thing that she needs to do. It will be nasty but that is the only way to survive another Middle School. She was finished crying so she went to see her mother. "Mother, why are we moving? We just got here!" she sniffed. "Because honey, your dad got fired of his job and he couldn't find any, so his new job will be in BrooklynStone," her mother Said. "But I have a boyfriend and new friends!" Mackenzie could feel hot tears threatening to fall. "No buts! We are moving!"

Mackenzie knew she couldn't do anything so she went in her bedroom till the next day. She was walking down the halls as usual. "Hey Mack! Whats up? I missed you," and he gave her a kiss on the cheek. "I'm moving Anthony. You can't do anything," she said in a monotone voice. "What? But you just got here! Please tell me it isn't true!"

Before Mackenzie gets to reply, a girl with blonde ravishing hair, just like Mackenzie, came into the scene. "There you are Anthony! I've been looking all over for you! My sister wants you," then she looked at Mackenzie. "Oh! So you are best friends with him? Cool! My name is Callie ... You know..." she said timidly. "Actually we are together..." He said.

"You are together?! Oh! I'm sorry then that must mean my sister lied to me..." and she ran off. They looked at each other then he frowned, "I-I'm sorry to tell you this but..." and HE ran off. Mackenzie was suspicious so she sneaked up after him.
She saw them in a corner of a hallway where nobody ever goes. "Ugh Anthony! Who is this chick? Did this girl distracted you again?" she heard Callie talking.

"Uh... I might regret this but..." Mackenzie listened closely, "I want to be your boyfriend!" Mackenzie gasped in disbelief. How could he do this? She did nothing wrong! Could this mean that Anthony was cheating on her? But how?! It's impossible! ... Isn't it?
