Mackenzie was on the phone with Anthony. "Um, it's me Mackenzie? You broke up with me," she told him. Marie told her to go call Anthony that he did break up with her, and that is what Mackenzie did. "Uh, look, please don't be mad at me but I'm kinda, sort of, with Callie but when I see you again, we'll be together," he stupidly say. Mackenzie was rolling her eyes.
"Listen, that's NOT how a relationship works. You either be with me, or not!" She shouted. "Listen, uh, I don't know, okay?! It's so boring not having a crush and you anymore!"
"That is so stupid," Mackenzie yelled, "why would you do that?! You know what? Forget it. I don't have feelings for you anymore!" She didn't want to be bothered. She wants a new life. A huge restart. "What?! What do you mean?! Look, I am so sorry if you are st--"
"-No. I am not," she interrupted him, "I am a stronger women and I am better than this. You know what? You can keep our 'relationship' shattered into pieces, alright? We are through."
"WHAT?! You are joking right?!" Anthony panicked through the phone. His voice trembled with worry. "No joke. I am serious. Leave me be or I'll block you permanently. You understand?"
"Mackenzie, I DON'T UNDERSTAND! Why are you doing this?! We may be apart but we can still call or text each other..." Mackenzie sighed in disbelief. She wanted to be alone. No boys any more. She finally knows the secret identity of all boys.
"We. Are. Through. Got that?!"
"But Mac! I don't understa--"
She hung up. She didn't block him after that because who knows? But after when she really moved on, she will delete his number and never to be seen again.
Suddenly, her parents came in the car. "You okay honey?" her mother asks. "Yup. Better than ever!" Mackenzie told them.
Mackenzie felt a bit guilty to say things like that to Anthony but She changed. Her heart is becoming cold by the second from all the pain she has to go through. She had enough of everything. And now, to make things worse, she is going to Orange County High!
They drove for hours and hours.
"Mom, how is Orange County High? And how did you find it?" she asks.
"Oh! A friend recommended to me, and I know that it's perfect for you and Ally. It's a middle school by the way," her mom told her as she turned around and winked at her from the passenger seat.
Mackenzie huffed and took out her mirror in her pink bag. She fluffed her hair and took out her hairbrush inside her bag. She brushed it until straight and nice.
Her sister, Ally, became concerned at her big sister because Mackenzie isn't usually like that. She doesn't even care about her looks; until now..."Um, sis, what Are you doing? You seemed a bit different... Are you okay?" she said, almost a whisper.
Mackenzie flashed her eyes at her as she was applying lip gloss to her lips. Ally got chills up her back and gulped."GAH! You idiot! You ruined my lipstick!" she snapped.
Ally got so shocked and scared, that she got tears in her eyes. She was about to cry.
Mackenzie finally realized what She had done, and She came quickly by her sister's side to comfort her."Oh! No! I'm so sorry! I didn't mean to make you cry! Please forgive me. I don't know what came over me..." she said. Their parents heard what is going on so their mother turned around.
"Kids, what is going on? Mackenzie, what had gone into you honey? Ally, please stop crying," she gasped. Ally stopped crying and looked at Mackenzie. Mackenzie gave a little smile and a hug to her sister in return.
