Patched Up

Whatever was nearing Wither had already grabbed him by his good leg, and was now dragging him across the ground. This hurt Wither pretty badly, mostly because of his already hurt leg.
He was suddenly released - and was quickly falling straight down.
This was it - whatever had grabbed him wanted him to meet a swift end.
He hit something, but it wasn't hard - he had landed in water.
He was grabbed by the leg again, and dragged out of the water, across a hard, bumpy surface - Ebonstone, he assumed.
He was then hurled up onto a softer surface. It almost felt like his own bed.
That's when Wither went unconscious.

Wither woke up to a few of the other Elites surrounding him.
"Hey," Night - the one Elite that actually liked him - whispered, "you alright?"
Wither tried to respond, but something kept his mouth shut.
"Oh, right, my bad! I forgot about that for a minute!"
"Real nice, Night," Perish - the most feared Elite in all the lands - mumbled. "He can't even talk, and you ask him a question."
"It's not my fault! I forgot!"
"Remember these things next time."
Perish opened the door to leave, but before doing so, he turned back to Night.
"You're lucky to be an Elite. I'd kill you where you stand."
Perish then disappeared into the darkness, followed by the other Elites in the room besides Night and Wither.
Wither was kinda glad to see that someone didn't leave on him, but the pain he was feeling in his leg made the experience worse.
That's when Wither realized he could see again.
"Y'know, Wither," Night whispered, "I never expected someone like you to become an Elite..."
Night quietly scooted her chair closer.
"I never expected to even meet someone like you..."
Wither's thoughts were racing. Literally. His biggest one got a trophy for it.
"But, well, here we are..."
Wither found the entirety of the situation rather awkward, but this always happened when Night was with him.
"If you don't mind, I'm gonna stay in here. At least until you can talk again."
Either Wither was too happy about this, or he was just ridiculously afraid, but whatever it was caused him to black out.

Wither woke up again, but this time, only Night and the Eater of Worlds were in the room.
Seeing that he was alive, the Eater left, in hopes of finding something to munch on for a while.
Night stared straight into Wither's eyes.
"I assume you slept well?"
"Yeah..." Wither was glad that he could finally talk.
"Well, that's good! I can't say I'm surprised - you were asleep for two months..."
Wither's eyes widened. "Two months?!"
"And that was just the second time. The first was about six or seven."
"Nine months?!"
"Hey, don't be so surprised! That leg was hurt pretty badly, and your face had numerous fractures and little areas that were next to evicerated, but you turned out okay, right?"
"Yeah, I guess you're right."
"Good. Well, I'm off for training. I'll be back when I'm finished!"
As she was leaving, she stopped at the doorway, and looked back at Wither.
She then turned back, and left for the Training Room.
