Shade backed away from Zale quickly, hoping he wouldn't pull the trigger if he did so. Zale kept his aim steady, paying close attention to Shade's actions.
"Dad, put it down," Night commanded him.
Zale hesitated.
"Drop it, Dad."
Zale dropped it onto the ground, then pretended to pout in the corner, despite not being upset.
"Who are you," Shade yelled, "and why are you in my house?!"
"I'll tell you later," Night hastily responded. "I'm kinda busy right now..."
Shade got up, and quietly walked over to Night.
Zale noticed, and started watching him like a hawk.
He stared at Wither for a minute, then said "I think I have something that might help."
He hopped down the hole leading to his lair.
Night, looked back at Zale, who had eased up a little.
"Something wrong, Dad?" Night asked him. "You seem a little-"
She quickly remembered Wither.
"Um... never mind... wouldn't want to use up any puns before he wakes."
Zale started slamming his head into the wall, knowing what she was going to say.
"Dad, would you stop doing that before you hurt yourself more?"
Zale turned to face her, and stayed sitting in the corner, pretending to be upset.
Shade clambered out of the hole, carrying a large number of potions with him.
"Alright, these might help," he said, although it was hard to understand, due to him having potions in his face.
Night stared at the mountain of potions with legs that was approaching her, while Zale was pretending to laugh.
Shade carefully set down the potions, trying not to spill any of them. He failed for the most part, but a single Regeneration Potion rolled over to Night.
She picked up the potion, and slowly poured it into Wither's mouth.
"Now we'll have to wait," Night said worriedly.
"I have a spare bedroom downstairs," Shade offered. "You two can stay down there if you want."
Zale realized that he wasn't acknowledged in that offer, and pretended to cry.
Night graciously accepted the offer, carrying Wither carefully down the lair to the room. Zale followed closely behind.Shade closed his bedroom door quietly, and woke up Sapphire.
"Hey, they're asleep."
Sapphire smiled. "Time to kill?"
Shade smirked. "Yes. Time to kill."
