- England 🦄
___________

"You what?" The Scottish accent blasted angrily through the phone, "I don't have time to waste my magic on your bloody experiments, Englan-"

"Just hear me out for a sec!" England cut the Scotsman off, glancing nervously at Prussia who sat in the passenger seat beside him. "I'll explain when you get to my house alright? Just please come."

There was a long pause on the other end, causing the Brit to almost believe the latter hung up. Finally, a deep sigh from the other line.

"Fine. But you better have a damn good reason for this, Arthur, or I'll pound your face into dust!"

"Yeah, yeah." England mumbled, slowing to a stop as the light flashed red in the empty streets of sleeping London. "It's a perfectly valid reason, just show up."

Prussia stretched, propping his legs up on the dashboard after England ended the call.

Glancing at the Prussian's sloppy position with disgust, England quickly pushed his boots back to the floor before his eyes returned to the road ahead. "Though Scotland didn't sound too pleased, I'm sure he'll show up to help tomorrow. He knows I don't ask for help with this kind of thing often and when I do it's serious."

Prussia nodded, yawning and glancing back out at the window as the old buildings rolled by. There was an awkward silence for a moment before England finally broke it by clearing his throat.

"Anyway, Ireland, Scotland, and Wales are coming tomorrow to help. That makes three extra magic users. The chance of this spell working has greatly improved, and if one of us stays out and reads the spell instead of putting any magic in, it'll be a perfect three wizards. Three is the best number for preforming magic, afterall."

Finally, after what seemed like hours, the car slowed and turned left, the sound of crunching gravel following in its wake. Yawning, Prussia pushed himself up from his slouched position and glanced back in front of them. It was still considerably dark, since it was around 1 a.m., but he could make out a long driveway lined by towering pine trees, giving the area an eerie setting. At the end of the endless driveway there was a massive, old-style mansion, the front driveway leading in a circle around a fountain.

England pulled up in front of the shadowy building and turned off the ignition, stepping out of the car and walking around to open the door for Prussia before he could himself. Prussia blinked at the gesture in confusion but quickly recovered and returned his trademark smirk to his lips.

Stepping out of the car, the Prussian stretched and yawned once more, following England to the old creaky wooden stairs and onto the long front porch which winded all the way around the house, with another second floor porch serving as a roof above them. England flicked his car key aside on the key ring, searching through the massive amount of keys for a moment before finally finding the one of interest.

He placed it in the keyhole of the large,Victorian styled double doors and pushed it open, stepping inside and setting his keys on a small hall table to the right. Prussia quickly followed and England shut the door behind them, flicking on the lights. Prussia waited a moment for his eyes to adjust before his surroundings came into focus. They were in a small hallway which led forward a few feet before branching off into two hallways on either side then opening up into a large, beautiful living space. Above them there was a bright glass chandelier which projected light across the halls, bouncing off the dark wooden floor.

England stepped forward, straightening a painting of what Prussia assumed was one of England's brother's, on the way. At the end of the hall he stepped down one single stair that stretched across the next room, which was the classy living room. The wooden floor gleamed as a new, larger chandelier lit up the entire area. There was a fireplace to the left, and a large old rug taking up nearly the entire room. Two couches lined the room along with one recliner, all made from a dark chocolate leather. In the middle was a glass coffee table, the couches and table facing the old fireplace, where a flat-screen was attached to the wall above.

To the right the floor stretched for a few more yards before stepping up again into a dark wood and black marble topped kitchen.

"Make yourself at home," England patted a spot on the couch, Prussia following and sitting in the spot. "You said earlier you brought a change of clothes, I'll get them from the car and hand them over, then change my own clothes. Please do excuse me for a moment." Prussia nodded, watching the Brit quickly scurry off.

After about fifteen minutes, England returned wearing a mint green robe.
"I have y-" He was cut short at the sight before him, the Prussian fast asleep on the couch, cuddled up with one of the decorative pillows. England smiled softly, reaching across him to grab hold of an old light brown quilt, setting it on the Prussian's sleeping figure.

"We'll get started tomorrow. You'll need lots of rest so sleep up." England spoke, though aware that the Prussian was asleep, and sat his folded clothes neatly on the coffee table. After one more glance England finally turned and trudged down the hall and up one of two grand stairways, leading around and down a long dark, portrait filled hall.

He turned into a grand door at the end of the hall and stepped inside, closing the door. He simply walked over and fell face first on the large Victorian bed, huffing with exhaustion. At least now he'd get some sleep.
