Jax pov
It's been 6 months since Brendon died and it's not getting much better. I dont like when people constantly ask if I'm okay. That might sound rude but it just makes me think about it more. I knew something wasn't right that day. All I do all day is sit in my room, occasionally watching reruns of Chicago Med or binge watching American horror story. Pete basically moved in and is always checking up on me. I heard knocking on my door and I had a feeling it was Pete. Sure enough, it was.
"Hey Jax, what's up?" He said, bringing two bowls of cereal. He handed me a bowl.
"Nothing really. Just hanging here." I said, eating the Lucky Charms in my bowl. We watched Supernatural until we finished our cereal.
"Do you want to come downstairs? Josh and Tyler are here and Tyler wants to see you." He said. I thought about the last time I saw Tyler and Josh. I saw Josh yesterday, because he is always here with Link, but I haven't seen Tyler in a really long time.
"Sure, just let me get dressed to look halfway decent." I said. He nodded and left, giving me some privacy. After I got dressed, I got sidetracked watching tv. I looked at the time and it had been 15 minutes since Pete left. I decided that I should go downstairs. I walked downstairs to Link and Josh on the couch. I noticed that Link was a bit..heavier than usual. I wondered if she was depressed, because she tends to eat alot when she's depressed. I decided to ask her about it later. They waved excitedly and I waved too. I walked into the kitchen where Tyler and Pete were. Tyler immediately gave me a hug.
"How are you doing? I havent seen you in forever." He said. I smiled and Pete dropped dressing all over the floor. One of the bottles broke and he just stuck it back in the fridge. We all walked back to the living room and Link was already walking back to her room. I followed after her so I could talk to her. She turned around to look at me and jumped, as if I scared her.
"Oh, hey Jax. You okay?" She asked.
"I'm alright, are you okay? I don't know if there is anything wrong or anything." I told her.
"Uh, yeah Im fine. What would be wrong?" She asked.
"Well, I know how you eat alot when you're depressed so Im just wonder-"
"Oh, geez Jax, you scared me for a second." She said chuckling. "I'm totally fine. I just haven't been feeling good." She said.
"What do you mean?' I asked.
"Well I got really sick a while back. I get tired so easily now, and I'm bloating alot." She said. I didn't think she noticed. It all kind of clicked in my head. I stared at her with this strange look.
"Uh, you okay?" She asked.
"Link, I think you might be pregnant."
