Jaxs pov

I woke up with a headache. I looked around and saw everyone passed out. Pete was in a very uncomfortable position and Dallon was sprawled flat on the floor. Patrick was absent from everyone asleep on the ground. I heard clattering in the kitchen so I got up. Sure enough, Patrick was in there.

"Good morning Jax." He said.

"Good morning Patrick. Whats up?" I asked.

"Getting some coffee. Is Link up?" He asked.

"I think she just woke up and is in the bathroom."

"Oh ok." He said depressed.

"You ok?" I asked. He shrugged. I just facepalmed.

"What's wrong Patrick? You have literally been acting weird ever since Link and Josh..." I trailed off.

"Is it the baby?" I asked. He looked at me. I looked at him in question.

"Yeah, a little bit.

"Um, what's little bit I'm confused-"

"She just had to get pregnant. And out of all people with Josh's baby." He yelled. "I've tried so hard to try to get her to be with me but she always goes back to Josh." I just sat there listening. I knew Patrick was kind of sad about this I just didnt think he still felt this strongly about Link.

"Wow Patrick, I'm sorry I didn't know."

"Know what?" A voice behind me said. I turned around to see Link there.

"Uh, I didnt know we were out of fish sticks. Whoops, Im sorry Patrick." I said. Patrick smiled and shook his head.

"We're out of fish sticks? Well I have to go to the store anyway, do you want to come?" Link asked me.

"Sure, just let me go upstairs real quick."

Some time later

Jax's pov

Link and I just got to the Walmart that is by the house. Link took 5 minutes trying to get a cart, but then later found out was tied to a pole, so we had to grab one of those "car" cart, because those were the only ones left. While I pushed the cart and Link was looking at different things, I would sit in the front seat beeping the horn. It was very uncomfortable because it was so small and the fabric of my jeans on my knees were dangerously close to my eyes. I kept beeping the horn at people who passed until Link told me to stop because "I was drawing attention to myself."

"Link, I really dont care what people think." I said.

"I do. Two twenty-seven year old girls shopping, one who is pregnant and looking at weird looking crust pizza while pregnant and the other honking a horn in a car formed cart that was made for toddlers." She said, still examining pizza.

"Well gosh Link." I said laughing. She smiled and we kept walking. She grabbed fish sticks and some Shake and Bake from the most recent aisle, but didnt put them in our cart. Oddly, while we were walking, the floor started getting slippery. This woman walking slipped and slid across the ground and I was laughing so hard. She looking at me and I started "coughing." Link suddenly fell to but someone caught her. It was some ginger guy, but I couldnt see his face. He balanced himself and Link and turned his head. He looked super familiar.

"Preston?" Link said. Thats where I know him from. He went to our school and was in the marching band at our high school. Him and Link dated for a while, until he moved away. Him and Link looked at each other for a bit while I stood and watched them. I didnt know if this was cliche or just luck of running into but something might be up.
