- 3 months later-
Life's been tiring. I'm 8 months pregnant, I barely fit in anything but Josh's clothes, and it's now November. Exactly 11 months ago, Brendon died. Jax has been getting better, the thought still stayed in our minds.. especially Jax. It was about 3 pm and it was just Josh, Patrick, Jax, Pete, and I at the house. We were all watching Jurassic Park when I began to start having slight pains in my stomach . They were small, so I ignored them. Josh had his arm wrapped around me and laid his head on mine. Jax sat beside me and Pete on the love seat with Patrick. Over the last month, it's been pretty laid back. Josh was growing more nervous with the baby and all, but he was alright. Around 30 minutes later, that small pain grew to a stinging one. I grabbed my stomach and josh looked at me."are you okay? Is the baby okay?" He asked nervously."yeah.. just a small pain.. must be normal" I said trying to hide it. I could feel him growing more and more anxious. Jax looked at me and I could tell she was concerned. We continued to watch the movie until the pain grew to be harsh. I winced and josh looked at me."baby, are you sure you're okay?" He asked getting scared. I looked at him and nodded."I'm just gonna go get some water.." I trailed while getting up. I slowly made my way into the kitchen and opened the fridge. I went to reach for a bottle of water when the pain grew to excruciating. I started screaming and josh came running in."Link?!" He ran up to me and caught me. I looked Down to see blood seeping through my pants.."CALL 911!" Josh yelled and everyone ran in." Ah the fridge is open... LINK?! OMG BABY TIME" Pete yelled."I don't think that's good..." Jax said to Pete. I eventually passed out from the blood loss..
- sometime later-
"Check her pulse" I heard a new voice say as my blurred vision started to appear. My vision began to clear, I moved my head around and noticed I was in an ambulance. I panned my eyes around. Two paramedics were working on stabilizing me while josh sat on the side holding my hand with silent tears coming from his eyes. I knew what was happening... I didn't want to believe it though. Before I could even speak, we arrived at the hospital. They parked at the drop off and rushed me in, josh running behind. They took me into the maternity ward and placed me in a room and began to work immediately. Josh was in the room, but a distance away. The nurses and doctors kept shouting medical codes at each other until a sweet toned woman looked me in the eyes and said "ma'am you're going to have to have an emergency C section". And with that, I was whisked away. I was placed on the table and they began the procedure. They opened me and clamped the tissue to hold me open. The more they got in the more I felt, surprisingly I couldn't really tell how much pain it was. They finally got the baby out, but there was no cries. I waited, still no cries. I was so lost, I ended up passing out.
-- an hour and a half later--
I was now back in the room before the C section. My stomach hurt a bit, it would hurt worse later. I heard a nurse knock on the door, followed by an entry with josh behind her. He came up and stood on the corner of the bed."Genevieve Moore and Joshua Dun?" She asked looking at us."yes ma'am?" Josh asked. I nodded."I'm aware you must be rather curious as to what's happening..." she started, josh nodded."unfortunately, the baby was too weak... and soon moved on after the c section..." she said, trying to be calm, she was defiantly new."s-so.. our b-baby g-g-girl is g-one?" I stuttered out."I'm afraid so.." she said, looking down. I began crying, same as josh except he fell to the floor."NO!" He yelled crying. "I'm sorry you have to go through this... I'll be back shortly to receive a birth name for files" she said, leaving. Josh stood up and came to me and crawled in the bed as we sobbed and cried on each other."l-linkin log?" He said after us crying for atleast 10 minutes straight."yes jishawa?"."I love you" he said grabbing me tight, tears still slipping onto his face."I love you" I said gripping him tighter, letting my tears fall. We've been thinking about names for a while, so we knew what to tell the lady. She eventually came back and we told her...
