It took me forever to settle on my pronouns (he/him) because I had been conditioned weirdly. From an early age I had been called a guy even though I was in a female body and trying to present as a girl. So as an early teen I decided I didn't care what people said and any pronouns were okay. Now as a 16 year old guy I had to switch to masculine pronouns because the shes were becoming painful.
Upon telling my friends (okay 2 people but hey) I was a guy and should be referred to as such they were accepting. They haven't used my pronouns in front of me but when I came out to the one she called me bro so I'm counting that. (screenshot above)
I would suggest trying pronouns out with a trusted friend or simply the bathroom mirror. This especially applies to gender neutral pronouns as there are several to choose from.
