Huria Shehzad

She made one friend today. She was so happy, she didn't know that her happiness would be short lived. But she was hoping that everything will be fine and back to its place. Ainah was so nice, so talkative. Huria liked her nature and all things. She didn't know whether Ainah is always like this bubbly and happy or there is a reason behind. Everyone has its story, a painful side and a happy side. Huria had to discover both sides of her.

"Huria, show me your schedule." Ainah said but Huria was so lost that she couldn't hear.

"HURIA, SHOW ME YOUR SCHEDULE." Ainah this time yelled and she flinched covering her ears. "Why are you yelling? I can hear. I'm not deaf!"

"I have called out your name twice but you were lost somewhere else. So I had to do that." She said confidently as if it's not her fault but Huria's. She didn't even care for her ears.

"What about my ears, which you have infected by yelling?" Huria raised her brows in a fake hurt, but deep down she was happy to have someone to talk to.

"What were you thinking?" Ainah asked ignoring her previous question. She was scratching her chin in a thoughtful manner. Well she was looking cute and then she came up with a weird thing.

"Do you like someone? And may be you are thinking about him?" Ainah said in a chirpy voice, Huria shush her before anyone could listen.

She didn't know what came to Ainah's mind and she was grinning, wiggling her brows she asked. "Who is that lucky man? Whom my friend had laid eyes on?" Huria's jaw dropped.

"There is no one and won't be. I wasn't thinking about anyone. I swear!" She quickly replied. Ainah believes in fantasies whereas Huria believes in reality. She thinks fantasies are just for stories, not for this world.

She wished to have a partner, so she could tell him everything, her insecurities, her secrets, her happiness, pain. Grief. Whom she could trust fully and the one who won't break her trust like other did. She wanted it to happen but no one is trustworthy.

"Will you show me your schedule? Or will we stand here wandering."

A Small smile spread across her face. She smiled wholeheartedly after so long. She missed her old self. She was a chirpy one, always going here and there. She never seated at one place. She handed her schedule to Ainah. When Ainah glanced at it, her smile faltered.

"What happened?" Huria was looking at her concerned.

"Only two classes with you." Ainah pouted like a baby which made her chuckle.

"It's Okay I guess?" Huria asked, although she knew the answer.

"No it's not. I wanted to spend time with you." She again pouted. Huria felt the urge to pull her cheeks, as Ainah was looking none other than a kid whining over stupid things. Huria suggested Ainah that she can come up her house at any time.

Their first class was together, so they went talking about random stuff. Huria was thinking her good time has finally arrived.

The class was empty expect for two or three students in corner mingling. They seated at the last bench of room. Ainah was tapping her fingers on the table.

"Actually, I don't know anything about you and you too about me. So let's play twenty question, until teacher doesn't come. Okay?" Ainah said with a grin. "Okay!" Huria simply replied.
