Recap:
She went to university with a smile plasters on her face. She was looking for Ibrahim and Ainah. But what she saw was beyond expectation. Her steps faltered and smile dropped. She didn't want to see that.
---------
She saw her aunt sitting on a bench waiting for someone desperately, as her aunt was looking here and there. She with reluctant steps went near her, and what her aunt did was beyond expectation. Aunt hugged her. It was all looking fake. Those tears Aunt Rushda was shedding claiming that she missed Huria.
"Oh my Huria, my life! I missed you so much." Aunt Rushda claimed.
"Yeah me too, aunty." Huria passed a tight lipped smile. She never missed her. She was telling a lie because she didn't want to hurt anyone. She knew how it feels to get hurt and no one to console you.
Aunt Rushda was trying to say something but nothing was coming out of her useless mouth. Huria was still standing in front of her Aunt and seeing her with bored expression. Finally Huria spoke.
"You want to tell me something?" Huria asked, trying to sound as nice as she could.
"Yeah, actually i want to tell you that I'm taking you with me to Newyork after your 18th birthday which is in a month. So I am hoping to see you at my house soon to discuss everything. Don't be late." Aunty stated and smiled to convince her niece.
"But aunty what about my studies? You can't just take my life's decision. I don't want to go New york." Huria said. She didn't want to go, especially with her Aunt. Aunt Rushda was trying to stay calm but her niece outburst startled her.
"Do you think, I asked your opinion?" Aunt Rushda snarled.
"N-No." Huria shook her head in negative.
"You will do as I say. No arguments. You should be thankful to me for what I gave you. I gave you shelter, food and what not. You are spending my money girl. You don't even know how much I am spending on you but you are so selfish. I pity your parents. They left you in this world because you are ungrateful. You are nothing but a useless sh*t. You never appreciated their efforts. They thought they can make you a better person but they failed. If they would be here they would have been disappointed in you. They would hate you for what you have become, an ungrateful and selfish person. You--" Aunt was cut off by Huria.
