Going Under: Hold Your Breath

Part 14: James

Fuck no Im outta here, James said to himself. After witnessing that guy and girl talking to that creepy lady was enough for James to think about going home.
He turned around and saw Rachel and Bruce standing in front of him.
Ok James thought, they were just by that cave which is 30 yards from James' position.
"Super speed," James asked. "No problem," he continued.
"Ru- Run," Rachel said. She stuck her hand and a yellow orb floated towards Jame's face.
James dodged it and ran at a huge branch that stretched over the lake and into a parking lot.
"Fucking shit," James hissed.
He bolted onto the branch and leaped as far as he could into the parking lot.
"Thank God," James gasped. He wasn't tired, more of in shock that all of this stuff was going on. Having super speed to seeing a woman get dragged into her cave with a ton of branches. Then two powerful people tried to kill him. Its all too much. Just when he thought that he caught a break, the two people appeared in front of James.
"The only way that you'll be able to es- esca- escape. Is to really outrun us," Rachel struggled.
"You guys need help. Dont you? You guys don't want to kill me," James asked. He wiped the sweat off of his forehead.
"We follow the will of the lake," Bruce snapped. He stretched out two of his hands and two yellow orbs smacked against James' chest. He went flying until he landed on the side of a car, with a loud pop James knew that something in his body was broken.
"I'm going to get out of here and get you guys some much needed help," James groaned out.
"No. There is no help here, except for death," Rachel said.
They both stretched their arms towards Jame's face. A crackle sounded off, a car screech was heard as well then everything went black.
