Part 34 Annie

"Hey Nate, I dont know if you're noticing this but we're walking in a city," Annie whispered.
"Yeah, I heard about this place in high school, some weird kid talked about this place. Saying how people go missing, boats get overturned," Nate replied.
"Dont mean to intrude, but what happens if we got people looking for us," Rachel asked.
"Not mine. My parents were killed in a wreck, being an only child i lived alone under bridges," Annie said.
"Never knew that," Dandi said.
The soldiers led them through dark alleys, they saw an enormous chasm ahead of them.
"James you might want to do your superhero thing again, I have a bad feeling about this," Kent said.
The soldiers stopped and stared at Kent.
"No worries, bastard, only by the order of Lord Mist will we kill you," a Spartan laughed.
Kent and the rest of his friends backed away from their captors.
"Even if he gave you the order, you wouldn't kill us without a fight," Rachel growled.
"What's goin on down there," Ezekiel called from a roof.
"More like why are you on that roof with Mist while we're walking with these piece of shit soldiers," Kent asked.
Mist looked at Ezekiel with annoyance plastered on his face.
"Come, even though I am a king, these waters are treacherous. I was scouting the area before the group arrived there. Come, let's jump," Mist said. He turned into a thick green foam and dived towards the group, before he touched the ground, Mist formed into himself.
"Oh damn," Kent said.
"Ezekiel you know how to do this, remember what happened on the surface. Channel your rage," Mist called up to Ezekiel.
"Nah son Im good, I'm going down this fire escape," Ezekiel chuckled.
A few American soldiers tossed some grenades at the fire escape, seconds later it exploded.
The water pushed fire together, making it glow white then fizzle out.
Metal clang as it fell to the lake floor, the soldiers cheered as they realized that Ezekiel only had one way down.
"I dont give a shit, I'll hold on, i can just swim off of here," Ezekiel said.
"No dont! The laws of physics don't work here. If you jump, its the equivalent of jumping on your surface world. Anything light will float to the top," Mist called.
"Fuck you man," Ezekiel yelled to Mist.
A turtle the size of a school bus swam up from the chasm at lightning speed.
"Oh fuck," Nate screamed, he ran away behind a huge rock.
"Our ride to my kingdom is here, if we don't catch it, we'll be stuck out here for a day," Mist called.
"I'll be stuck here than jump 50 feet to my death," Ezekiel said.
"I second that, turtles are creepy asf, but nah that thing is 50 feet huge," Nate said.
"Youre coming with us regardless of what you want," Mist said behind Ezekiel.
Mist pushed him off of the building.
"Son of a-," Ezekiel screamed, he felt extremely light, a weight swooshed around his body. Falling on the ground, back first, Ezekiel groaned as he slowly stood up next to the group.
Mist turned into foam, then shot down at the group, "You'll learn to stick that landing," Mist chuckled.
"And you'll learn to never do that again," Ezekiel said.
The turtle screeched as it soared above their heads, it slowly landed next on top of a K-Mart.
"Let's go," Mist said.
The group ran as fast as they could to the beast.
They got near the door, when they saw it swing open.
