"I can't believe that i have a K-mart to myself. No long check out lines or annoying announcements," Olivia said out loud.
"Its so dark down here, I wish i could turn on a light," Olivia complained.
"You could just ask," said an eel. Its long sleeky body terrified Olivia, its yellow beady eyes stared into her soul.
"I cant believe I can understand you too," Olivia chuckled.
"Apparently you can understand everyone down here, I saw you talking to that turtle," the eel said.
"What you guys don't have names," Olivia asked.
"Names," the eel asked.
"Ha...you guys don't have any," Olivia said.
"I think that whatever you're talking about is not necessary," the eel said. The eels voice was very monotonous, it dragged every word out.
"Its not its not. Ok how are you going to help me see in here," Olivia asked.
"By searching for food, stay close but not too close. I could kill you," the eel said. With that, it shook violently then white light shined through the eel.
"Beautiful," Olivia whispered.
"What does that mean," the eel asked.
"It means that you're not ugly," Olivia laughed.
"You humans categorize each other based on your natural looks," the eel asked.
"Yes, how else would we be able to identify each other," Olivia asked.
"Identify as human. Nothing more and nothing less," the eel said.
"I will try," Olivia said.
They swam through K-Mart, Olivia showing the eel diffrent clothes that she liked, even though they were soaked and old.
"You humans are extremely unique, Id-," the eel was interrupted by a loud screech.
"Its the great turtle, we must hide," the eel yelled, panicking it shot like a bullet towards an empty restroom.
Olivia swam towards a fitting room, darkness surrounded her again.
She heard a ton of footsteps racing towards K-Mart.
"No way Im going down without a fight," Olivia whispered.
Mustering all of her courage, Olivia swam past the eel, who lightly electrocuted her arm.
"Don't go out there. It eats everything, including snapping turtles," the eel screeched.
"Thanks but you're not on the top of the food chain. We humans are," Olivia whispered. She swam to the front of the store doors, feet on the floor, fists to her face.
"Yes, you are on the top of the food chain, but every chain has its weak link," the eel snapped. It shot back into the restroom.
"Ok," Olivia said sarcastically. The footsteps got louder and closer. I remember that if I make myself appear bigger and let out a roar that it'll stop almost any animal dead in its tracks, thank you animal planet, Olivia thought to herself.
"Ok Olivia are you ready for this, one, two, three," Olivia whispered to herself, with that she pushed the doors open and let out a screech, then everything went black.
