Chapter 3

"It is you that I want, my Queen." Lahat ng balhibo ko sa katawan ay agad na nagsitayuan nang marinig ko ang sinabi niya. Umatras ako pero nabunggo lamang ako sa lababo.

"D-Don't go near me!"

"Too late," He said and in just a blink of an eye he's already in front of me and I don't even know how did it happened. "We're only one inch far to each other, my Queen."

Naramdaman ko ang mainit niyang hininga sa leeg ko and burried his face into it. And it stiffened me literally for a bit. I felt his hand on my waist and the next thing I knew, he's hugging me already.

Shit!

"L-Let go of me, you freak!" I shrieked and pushed him. I embraced myself and run out of the house.

This is not so good!

"My Queen!" Sigaw nito sa akin pero hindi ako lumingon. I run and run and run not knowing where I am heading. Kailangan kong makalayo, kailangan kong makaalis at ilayo ang nilalang na ito sa bahay. Hindi pwede na madamay sina Mama at Lola rito.

"Oh shit!" I cussed when I just tripped myself off. Dali-dali akong tumayo dahil baka maabutan niya ako pero hindi rin ako nakatakbo agad dahil sa paa ko.

Shit! I just sprained my foot. Bakit ngayon pa? I roamed my eyes in the place where I am. Now I know I am going to die now! I just led myself to my death. Ito na ba yung sinasabi nung lalake sa panaginip ko?

"You are not going to die, my Queen." Rinig kong sabi ng isang baritonong boses. Inilibot ko ang aking buong paningin sa paligid pero hindi ko ito makita. Puro kahoy lang nakikita ko. Doon ko lang napansin na nasa gubat na pala ako.

"Nasaan ka! Anong kailangan mo sa akin?" Sigaw ko sa kanya. It's now or never! I badly want to know why is he after me dahil pagod na pagod na ako sa kakatakbo.

"I told you, it is you that I wanted." Sagot nito sa akin. Nagpalinga-linga pa ako pero dahil sa kadiliman na bumabalot sa lugar at tanging liwanag lamang ng buwan ang nagbibigay liwanag dito ay hindi ko siya makita.

"Why me? There are a lot of people out there!" I answered. I gasped when I heard a thud on my back and when I turn around, it was the creature earlier.

"Because you are special, my Queen." He said and caressed my cheek. "And you are going with me, whether you agree or not." He said and just a split of seconds he is now carrying me like a bride.

"What the hell are you doing? Put me down! And who told you to make a decision for myself, you freak! Put me down in this instant! I won't go with you!"

"Shut up and close your eyes."

"Ibaba mo---Oh shit!" Iyan na lamang ang nasabi ko ng bigla niya akong ihagis paitaas.

I immediately closed my eyes and waited myself to land on the solid ground but a soft and ticklish thing is what I felt. I did feel nothing; I felt no pain at all. It feels like that I landed on cotton that is so soft, warm and---moving? Agad akong napadilat ng mata nang maramdaman kong gumagalaw ang lupa pero sana pala hindi ko na ito ginawa. It was not on a moving ground but I am at his fuzzy back, for goodness sake! That soft, warm and ticklish thing was his fur!

"I told you to close your eyes, my Queen!" I heard him say, he wasn't howling, but he spoke literally.

"Stop running! Uuwi na ako!"

"Do you think I'll let you do that? After that six long ye-- Oh shit!" Rinig kong mura niya na at agan na tumigil sa pagtakbo and I felt relieved. Akmang bababa na sana ako nang makarinig ako isang alulong. And I froze for a moment due to fear.

"Huwag kang bababa, nandito na sila. Keep yourself hidden and stay low, my Queen." Sabi niya sa akin. Hindi ko alam pero sinunod ko ang sinabi niya. I was about to say something when I heard a multiple howl, at palakas ito ng palakas.

"Please, iuwi mo na ako. Ayoko pa na mamamatay."

"You will not die here. And I won't let you die, my Queen. Trust me."

"P-Pero,"

"No buts. Hold onto me tightly, we are going to get away from them!" Sabi niya sa akin. I can feel my heart beat and it is beating so fast!

What is really happening right now? Please, if this is just a continuation of my dream earlier, please wake me up! Hindi talaga ito magandang panaginip!

Naramdaman ko ang biglaang paggalaw niya at agad akong napakapit ng mahigpit sa kanya. He's running so fast that I can even hear the gushing of wind in every step he made. Wala sa sariling napalingon ako sa kaliwa ko at muntikan na akong mahulog mula sa likod ng lobong sinasakyan ko nang makita kong may tatlong lobo sa kaliwa namin na tumatakbo. At nung tiningnan ko sa kanan, ganun din ang bumungad sa akin.

I was chased by a werewolf earlier and now the whole pack is chasing me! Not just an ordinary wolves but a pack of huge-sized wolves! Mas lalo pa akong nag-panic nang unti-unting lumalapit ang mga lobo sa gawi namin. They are after us and the reason? Probably because of what I did six years ago!

The wolf on my right eyed at me, giving me his deadly and fierce stares. Nakakatakot ang mga mukha nila. Their face says it all that they want to devour me alive! The way the wolf look at me was like he was hunting for his prey and wants to eat me for his supper.

Binawi ko ang tingin ko sa lobo at mas lalo ko pang hinigpitan ang pagkakapit ko sa balahibo ng lobong sinasakyan ko ngayon. Natatakot ako, sobrang natatakot ako sa mga nangyayari sa akin ngayon. Sa tanan buhay ko, I never dreamed for this night to happen. To be riding on this wolf's back, to be chased by wolves, and to be this close with them!
